Ye Shaotang picked up a stiff beige mid-sleeve sheath dress.
"This dress is neither too casual nor too old-fashioned, just right for office workers."
Xia Lu looked at him, "Brother Shaotang, what are you doing here?"
Ye Shaotang handed the dress to her, "Just like you. Go try it on."
Standing in front of the mirror, Xia Lu felt she had almost become an undeniable professional woman, almost. It had to be said, Ye Shaotang had great taste; the dress was well-tailored, the fabric comfortable, and the color gentle, fulfilling all her requirements.
"I'll take this one," she said, turning to the clerk.
In the restaurant.
"I would like a cheese-baked chicken rice, borscht, creamed vegetables, and a caramel latte, thanks." Xia Lu closed the menu, ready to feast.
Ye Shaotang slightly cocked his head, puzzled, "I remember you used to not eat much, why the sudden appetite today?"
