Carter was puzzled, not understanding the significance of shouting Mahomes' name now. Was this some kind of dark magic that could protect Mahomes and transfer the injuries to the opponent?
He just instinctively followed suit.
However, as the shouts continued, a force began to unite them.
Their blood boiled.
This was an energy that couldn't be felt in front of a television.
If he were watching on TV, he might have already changed the channel or made an excuse to go to the bathroom, refusing to watch the game until the Kansas City Chiefs took control or even won. Then, he could simply check the news report for the score, join the fans, and celebrate the victory together.
But now, being present, there was nowhere to escape.
The entire feeling was completely different.
Carter felt pinned to his seat, forced to face setbacks and adversities.
