Zaire readied himself. "Oh, it's you. It's been a while. You've gotten bigger, but so have I. You might not recognize me, but I'm going to take you down."
The bear roared, and Zaire took a deep breath, activating Dragon's Cry. A powerful roar escaped his lips, reverberating through the cave and sending chills down its spine. The bear charged, its claws scraping the ground.
Zaire stood his ground, his heart pounding. As the bear lunged, he met its force with his own, gripping its massive paw. The sheer strength of the beast pushed him back, his feet digging into the ground.
"You're strong, but I'm stronger," Zaire growled. He felt the surge of his new abilities coursing through him, he detected every movement, every muscle twitch of the bear.
With a swift motion, he sidestepped and unleashed a powerful punch imbued with Constricting Strength, sending the bear staggering back.
The bear, undeterred, charged again. Zaire's eyes glowed as the bear swiped its massive claws, Zaire ducked, rolled, and countered with a tail swipe that echoed like a crack of thunder, slamming the bear into the cave wall.
Zaire's body shimmered with Camouflage, blending into the surroundings.
The bear, disoriented, looked around wildly. Taking advantage, Zaire leaped onto the bear's back, but the bear bucked and threw him off. Zaire rolled and quickly got to his feet.
The bear charged at him, its roar shaking the cavern walls.
Zaire braced himself, catching the bear's massive front paws in his powerful grip. With a guttural roar and a surge of draconic strength, he hoisted the bear off the ground, muscles straining, and hurled it against the cave wall.
The impact was cataclysmic; stone and debris exploded outward, and a gaping hole was punched through to the outside world.
Emerging from the shattered cave, Zaire stepped into a landscape that took his breath away.
