In a shop in Water 7.
"This row! And this row!"
Viola waved her hand grandly. "Pack up all the clothes! I'll take them all!"
Since joining the Beast Pirates, Ian had been extremely generous when it came to money.
He gave pocket money by the "millions" every month.
So, now that they've finally arrived in a city that's still fairly prosperous commercially, how could they not enjoy some shopping?
Viola had long since pushed aside both Law and Enel from her mind.
At the highest point of Water 7, on a small platform beneath a massive fountain.
Enel sat quietly there, cradling a pile of apples. He casually picked one up and swallowed it in a few bites, not even bothering to spit out the core.
His eyes were half-lidded, vacant, as if he were in a daze.
But the "Mantra," which covered the entire island, was carefully observing every corner of the city.
The Blue Sea.
It was quite interesting.
At least, apples could be eaten freely.
Enel picked up another apple, unlike Skypiea, where island clouds couldn't grow anything.
Creeeak, creak.
Enies Lobby.
The sky had darkened, but this "City that Never Sleeps" island remained brightly lit.
This is the World Government's highest court, one of the three major institutions alongside Impel Down and the Marine Headquarters.
All serious criminals are sent here for trial, though the trial is really just a formality. Those brought here are either executed on the spot or sent straight through the Gates of Justice to Impel Down.
The island is surrounded by a giant fence, and it's divided into four sections.
The front island, where the port and main gate are located.
On the island, above the massive empty cavern, lies a semi-floating island where various courts and tribunals are located.
The Justice Tower, the heart of Enies Lobby, is where the island's guardians reside.
The Bridge of Hesitation, located behind the Justice Tower, is a massive bridge connecting to the Gates of Justice.
At this moment, at the port of Enies Lobby, a group of stationed Marines suddenly noticed something unusual.
Beyond the huge iron gates, on the shimmering sea, it seemed something was approaching.
"A ship?"
A Marine picked up a telescope and looked out, "It doesn't look like a warship. Could it be a government ship? But we didn't receive any application."
Enies Lobby is no ordinary place. Even government or Marine ships must submit an application before approaching.
If any foreign ships get too close, they'll be attacked on sight!
But as the Marine peered through the telescope, his body instantly stiffened.
Several seconds later, his colleagues were still confused, not knowing what was going on, until he finally screamed in terror.
"It's the Golden Dragon! Ian the Skyfire is here!!"
On the coast, after a brief silence, chaos erupted.
"The Golden Dragon? Why are they here?"
"Are you kidding?! Even CP9 can't defeat them!"
"Quick, notify the Tower of Justice, quickly notify the Navy Headquarters!"
Chaos descended.
At this moment, the Golden Dragon ship was already approaching.
"Gah bah bah bah! Is that the Enies Lobby?"
Dorry and Brogy stood side by side at the bow of the large ship, one holding a great sword and the other wielding a giant axe.
"Heh heh heh heh! Quite the spectacle, isn't it?"
"Now, it's time for your performance."
Ian, sitting at the rear of the ship's railing, said with a grin.
"Just keep watching!"
The two giants gazed toward the massive island ahead.
First, blocking their path was a towering iron fence.
Beyond the fence was the enormous gate at the back of the harbor!
To enter Enies Lobby, they had to first break through the iron fence, then pass through that gate.
"Dorry! Let's smash through them all in one go!"
Brogy laughed loudly as he raised his giant axe.
"Heh heh heh heh! And let's let Oimo and Kashi know we're here!"
Dorry also raised his great sword high.
"Oh? Are they coming?"
Ian said with interest.
This was his first time seeing it.
"Whoa!!"
Yamato excitedly tugged at Ian's sleeve. "Is this the move Dad taught us?"
"It's a little different."
Ian replied with a smile.
But it's probably quite similar.
It's a combination technique after all.
But it's a bit of a shame, though—despite already mastering the technique, they never had a chance to use it due to Yamato's strength being too weak, making it incompatible with Ian's own.
The two giants had already tensed their bodies, invisible waves surrounding their weapons.
And then...
"Hakoku Sovereignty!"
With the fall of the two massive weapons, a huge spiral wave roared out.
In an instant, a massive crack was torn open on the sea surface.
Almost immediately, the front of the incredibly strong, giant iron gate was completely shredded. The wave continued forward without any obstacle.
Crushing all the ships in the port, blowing away all the Navy and government agents on the shore, and then, it slammed into the massive gate at the back.
The thick gate only held for a moment before being pierced through.
The spiral wave was weakened but still roared forward, cutting through the town streets behind it and slamming into an even larger gate. This was the main gate leading from the previous island to the main island.
"What!!"
On either side of this massive gate, the two giants stared in disbelief at the sudden attack.
"This... this is!!"
The two of them trembled with excitement.
Boom!!!
The large gate was pierced, and the shockwave was redirected, flying diagonally upward. It tore through several courtrooms before heading toward a building above the giant hole.
Inside the Justice Tower.
"What! You said the Golden Dragon Ship! How could something like this happen!"
"Absolutely true! Commander Spandam!!"
A man, still drowsy, rushed to the window holding a transponder snail.
"Huh?"
He blinked.
A blinding light instantly engulfed him.
Boom!!
The upper section of the entire Justice Tower was blown away by the violent shockwave.
At the same time.
Boom!
The Golden Dragon Ship had passed through the broken hole in the iron fence and was now docked at the shore of Enies Lobby.
Two giants leaped off the deck, laughing heartily,
"Oimo! Kashi! We're here to pick you up!!"
Their laughter carried through the first gate and immediately reached the second gate on the front island.
The two giants here instantly burst into tears.
"Captain!!"
On the Golden Dragon Ship, Ian set down the transponder snail.
They had already started moving on their end.
Water 7.
It was getting late.
After a long day's work, and a hearty dinner at a town restaurant, the group from Tom's Workshop returned to the Scrap Island where they lived.
It had originally been a place to store decommissioned ships, but Tom had remodeled it, turning it into their workshop's location.
Four people were having a lively discussion, reviewing their work from today while estimating tomorrow's progress.
Suddenly, a young figure emerged from the darkness and stood in front of them.
"Hm?"
The tall fish-man Tom was momentarily stunned but then laughed heartily, "Kid, are you lost? This is no place for children to be playing."
Law calmly surveyed the group ahead and then turned back to urge, "What are you waiting for?"
"I'm coming, I'm coming."
A somewhat lazy female voice followed, and then a girl appeared from inside Tom's workshop.
Her movements, however, were a little strange.
She made an inverted "OK" gesture with both hands and placed them over her eyes, looking at them in a peculiar manner.
Seeing that Viola had already activated her ability, Law nodded slightly and turned to Tom, "Then I'll just ask directly."
"Mr. Tom, where is the design blueprint passed down through generations of the shipwrights of Water 7?"
"What!!"
Tom was caught completely off guard.
Are they after the design of the Pluto?
But how did they know about it?
Tom instinctively placed his hand on the small of his back.
Because it was so important, he had always carried that design with him.
Then,
"It's on him."
Viola said directly, "Yeah, it's on his lower back."
Peeping Mind!
