Four months had passed since the day of the battle. Something miraculous had even happened on that day. After the blood moon disappeared from the sky and the sun came out again, everywhere that the grand guardian's magic had touch, flowers blossomed.
The news had reported it as abnormality, along side the tragic news of a terrorist attack in the founding lane. For those that shared stories about witnessing abnormal creatures, the government claimed the terrorists had dressed up in Halloween costumes to create panic and make a statement. But what statement, the people would never know.
Those that died heroically while fighting the terrorists were commemorated as heroes. The day of the battle was made a public holiday to remember the fallen that had sacrificed their lives for others.
And with that, the people took the first step to healing. But for others, healing was still a long way off and even after four months, they were still forcing smiles on their faces.
