"Fengfeng, the rod!" The kid was the first to spot the fish biting and hurriedly alerted him.
Yue Feng glanced up at the reminder, and reflexively grabbed the fishing rod.
Now that was some force, much stronger than the catfish they were fishing for earlier!

The rod bent into an arc under the force from below the water. Yue Feng timely adjusted the drag to relieve the impact of the fighting fish, and after about ten seconds, he finally steadied himself.
"How is it? Is it very strong?" the kid asked with concern.
Yue Feng, feeling the force on the line from the fish below, replied a beat too slowly, "It should be somewhat sizable, but not too huge! The water is pretty deep which adds resistance to reeling it in. I reckon, at most, it's around 180 pounds, maybe not even that heavy!"
