Bai Zhi watched from not too far away as Hann Bing led them away. Who would have thought they'd be so lucky?
Returning home, Bai Zhi was surprised to find Grandpa had actually come back. A big smile spread across her face as she sprinted towards him.
"Grandpa!"
Seeing Bai Zhi running over, Bai Dan felt joyful too. He took her by the hand and they headed home...
"I'm not busy these days, so I came back to spend some time with you. I bought some things for you. Let's go inside and check them out..."
It was then that Bai Zhi noticed her grandpa was carrying bags and parcels of all sizes, which made her feel somewhat helpless.
"Grandpa, what are all these?"
Bai Dan smiled, entered the house with his granddaughter, and then started moving the luggage inside, piece by piece.
"Oh, nothing much, just some gifts and clothes I got for you."
Bai Dan, whenever he traveled somewhere and saw something tasty or fun, always thought of bringing it back for his dear granddaughter.
