On today's Sunday, I, as promised to Seko, came to her family's dinner. Todoroki's family home, is in the traditionally Japanese style, a decent sized lot, with a large backyard.

Upon knocking on the door, we were greeted by a pretty girl with glasses and white hair with red locks visible amongst it.

- Shoko, you're here already. Is this your boyfriend you were talking about?

- My name is Akira Mizuiro, and I take it you're Shoko's sister? Nice to meet you. - I said hello, holding Shoko's hand.

- I'm so glad that my dear sister has finally found her happiness. I'm Fuyumi, but you can call me sis. - she smiled in a friendly manner. - Come in, don't stand on the threshold.

Fuyumi sat me down on the floor at the traditional Japanese table with Todoroki Rei already seated, and Shoko sat next to me.

- Hello Mizuiro-kun, I'm really glad you came to dinner...with Shoko. - Rei took a fleeting glance at her daughter.

- I'm really glad. - I smiled back.

- Mum...is he coming too? - She asked quietly.

- Your father. Yes, he'll be here soon. - She answered easily, as if her husband sending her to the hospital didn't scare her one bit. - He came to visit me in my room the other day, he seemed distracted, as if he'd lost something important.

- It's his fault, he's the reason you're in hospital. How dare he come to you so easily. - Shoko said in a frustrated tone, but I calmed her down by squeezing her palm tighter.

- I'm home! - A young boy, a little older than Shoko and very much like her, entered the living room. He also, like Fuyumi, had white hair with traceable red curls. - Mum, you're back! - He landed next to her in a flash.

- Yes, Natsuo, I'm home...and you're still a stretch. - she fixed his hair.

- Oh, who's that? - Natsuo noticed me.

- I'm Akira, Shoko's boyfriend,' I replied, putting my arm around her shoulders.

- Boyfriend? But my sister is always so cold...' he didn't finish when he saw Shoko's happy face pressed against me. - It's the first time I've seen my sister like this. - Guy's eyebrows raised in surprise. - Wait...you're Tengu's hero! - He was even more surprised, and Rei stared at me questioningly.

- I am, only now my nickname is Hyperion.

- Dinner's ready and the whole family's here! - Fuyumi walked in with a large tray in her hands, followed by Prospector.

The room was completely silent, adding to the tension...and Prospector saw me and frowned, but chose to remain silent.

I don't form friendships with professional male heroes like Aizawa and Prospector...I think it's because my fist once met their faces.

Things seemed to be starting out pretty well, Fuyumi had cooked up a lot of goodies, everyone was enjoying dinner...Angie was drilling me and Sëko, who was crumpling towards me, with a look...and he was being drilled with a look by Natsuo.

- Tatsuta-age is very good. You're a wonderful cook, Fuyumi. - I praised her cooking.

Tatsuta-age is a Japanese dish, tofu stew with minced meat.

Meanwhile, the tension at the table was growing exponentially, especially Natsuo, who was staring at the Prospector with a wolfish gaze.

- I'm here, isn't that enough? - He got up from the table and walked towards the door.

- Natsuo!

- Natsuo, where are you going? - Rei frowned.

- I'm sorry mum and sis, I can't. I just can't bring myself to do it. - He left, closing the door behind him.

- Yep, that's quite a close-knit family you two have. I wonder who is the pillar that holds the whole family together. - I said, staring pointedly at Angie. - What do you say, father-in-law?

- Don't call me that. I don't approve of you or your relationship with my daughter. - he said in a menacing tone of voice.

- I don't need your permission, so stop trying to be a caring father. I'll date whoever I want, whenever I want. - Shoko replied sharply, standing up from the table with me. - We're going out for some fresh air. Mum, sister, I'm sorry if we ruined your evening.

- Hey, Prospector. - I turned to my not-so-good father-in-law. - Don't cling to old times. Your father was a true hero, and died a hero...but I can't say the same for you. - I said, looking at Angie's detached face.

Prospector's father was also, like his son, a hero. He died trying to save a little girl from the clutches of a villain, his corpse being hauled away right in front of his son.

- You can be happy, because you won't be number one for long. Soon I'll take over, and you'll have a reason to bring your family down again. Rejoice, your life will be the same as before. - I finished speaking to a devastated Angie, for I had verbally struck at the very heart, and then turned to Fuyumi with Rei. - Todoroki-san, Fuyumi. Thank you for the pleasant company and dinner. - I walked out with Shoko, and followed her to the backyard.

- What was I hoping for. - Shoko sighed as she walked out into the yard with me. - I'm sorry, Akira.

- What do you have to be sorry for? I had fun, it was like being in an Indian film...except for the evil brother who was up to no good. - I hummed, and Shoko smiled involuntarily.

- Shoko, wait! - Rei came running towards us. - I know your father did a lot of bad things, but he's really trying to make amends.

- I can't...Natsu can't either, he often grieves for Toya and blames him for everything. - Shoko remembered her dead brother. - He brought too much pain.

- Todoroki-san, give her time. - I interjected. - I know what it's like to have problems with my family, my mother and father abandoned me when I was born. Scars take a long time to heal, and when they are inflicted by someone close to you, they may not heal at all. - I agreed, and Shoko touched the place where her scar used to be.

- ...Good. In the end, it's my fault too. I'm a bad mother. - She sighed heavily and turned to me. - Angie doesn't like you, but I trust you to take care of my daughter and not let her get hurt. I give you my blessing.

- Mum. - Shoko exclaimed...and her cheeks also turned traitorously red.

- So that's why you invited me. Don't worry, Auntie, Shoko will be safe with me. - I hugged the embarrassed girl.

We returned to the house, but Todoroki Sr. was not there. A distraught Fuyumi said that Angie had left with the words 'he still had work to do at the office'. Fuyumi really wanted them to become a real family, but no fate. The main problem is the leader of the family, who because of his insanity, has made a mess of things, and now wants to gain the trust of his children...but his children are no longer children, and are well aware that their father was far from the best.

I've seen Angie's mind, and he's really been thinking about his family and regretting the mistakes he made...except he's a little late to realise that it wasn't until after the Almighty's resignation, after the goal of surpassing number one was abandoned, that Angie realises that everything he's done to his family has been for nothing.

Perhaps Shoko and her brother can forgive him, but it will take them a long time, and the Prospector himself is callous in showing his feelings, making the process even more difficult.

I spent the next day training the rest of the class, the ones who had already awakened and the others, who, to my surprise, trained hard until they were exhausted. Even Danky was having a hard time practising.

I woke everyone else up...most of them were down for half a day, but at least they were trying. Almost everyone got an extra quirk boost, but there were exceptions in the form of Jiro and Momo.

Kyouki's quirk had mutated after waking up, so she could scream with the same volume and frequency as Sovereign Mick, and her ears could hear even the most distant sounds.

Momo only got a physical enhancement, but that was expected, her quirk is one of the most difficult, and with the costume I gave her, she can easily pass the temporary licence exam.

With Asui, almost the same thing happened. Tsu has become faster and stronger to the point where her kicks are almost on par with Rumi's. Frogs and rabbits have very powerful leg muscles...and paws.

Tsu was extremely pleased, so much so that she then serviced me with her long tongue...and legs.

Tokoyami received the most amplification, his control over dark matter and its quantity increased noticeably. He can now use an enhanced version of the dark shadow he demonstrated during the attack on the camp. As Fumikage admitted, even after waking up, he struggles to control this form.

He was also able to come up with a move to compensate for his lack of close combat. Tokoyami shrouded himself in dark shadow, gaining a boost in strength, speed, and defence from the dark matter. He called this technique the Black Ankh.

Mina was the hardest working of all, she really wanted to become many times cooler. And so she had a dramatic change. Her skin lightened, acquiring a bright pink shade, pupils reddened, the industry and white hair, and also sharpened ears, as well as Mina grew a tail. On the downside, her horns fell off, which she was very upset about.

Mina's body also grew and rounded, so the old costume became too small for her, so I gave her a new costume made of a black top, sleeves and white baggy trousers with boots.

- My horns. - Mina said frustratedly, holding her horns in her hands.

- I think the tail suits you better than the horns, my succubus. - I stroked Mina's tail, which was as sensitive as her horns.

- Umm. - Mina blissfully closed her eyes...and immediately jumped at the slap on her bottom. - Ouch!

Those who had awakened earlier were already getting the hang of it, and were coming up with new techniques...and Kirishima and Bakugou, Shoko and Itsuka were actively pummelling each other.

- Suck it! Brick face! - Katsuki attacked with colossal power, blasting Kirishima, who was in the form of a stone golem.

- Fight! - Itzuka increased five metres and rammed into Eijiro, who didn't care about the explosions or the huge carcass that flew back at him. - Shit!' she fell to the ground, and knelt down to her normal size.

- Let's see how you like the fire. - Shoko threw a giant fireball at Kirishima, hitting him right in the face, causing him to recoil, and then added ice, shackling him in ice shackles. - Oversize is useless if you can't move. - She extinguished the flame in her hand.

- Nothing is impossible for the Red Rebel! - He released his hands from behind the ice and slammed them into the ground, shattering the remaining shackles and knocking all of his attackers to the ground. - I have won!

- I haven't lost yet. - Katsuki frowned menacingly, rising to her feet in a flash.

- Don't celebrate early, Kirishima. - I strengthened my right hand, which was covered with discharges, and hit Eijiro in the stone belly. The golem flew sideways at speed, and punched through a building...and a neighbouring one too. - I'm the only winner here.

- I think you overdid it. - Kirishima came back through the hole on his own two feet in his usual form.

- Show-off. - Katsuki snorted.

- No, no, only the father can show off. - I restored the walls with a wave of my hand.

After the class, I wanted to give the girls a rest, so I took them to a café for sweets and ice cream. I also called Kyoka, but she's not stupid and realised what we'd have afterwards...and she declined, though she was thinking about a lot of indecent things....

As we approached the cafe, I noticed that someone was purposefully following us, and just a second ago, this someone hid behind the corner of a neighbouring shop.

I walked into the coffee shop with the girls and sat down with them at the same table, and sent a clone after the malevolent person.

- Well, well, well, who do we have here? - I asked the woman behind her.

She was a tall, black-haired, mature woman with green eyes, wearing a sleeveless shirt, skirt, and glasses.

From surprise, she turned sharply towards me, but when she saw who was speaking, she relaxed a little. My face, on the other hand, changed into an extreme frown.

- Akira...you've grown so much. - The woman reached out her palm to my cheek, but I slapped her hand with my own, making her recoil.

- Don't you dare call me by my name. You didn't give it to me, I got it from my grandfather. - I was angry, because her appearance didn't make me happy. - What are you doing here and why are you following me?

- I missed you. - she said sensually. - Look, I'm really sorry for what I did, and I want to earn your forgiveness. - She said regretfully, but in every word she was lying, and very improbably.

- Don't worry, I'm not mad at you. - I smiled. But my smile turned sharply crooked. - After all, I don't care about you at all. Go back to your hakhal, and better not to get in front of your grandfather, I do not want to see him upset.

- But I--

- And don't even think about following me or my girls, or I'll teleport you to the Pacific Ocean. - I threatened her one last time, and I was blown into tiny particles. I never expected to meet her in Japan, much less have her follow me.

- Who was that? - Katsuki asked me out of the blue after eating a spoonful of ice cream.

- What are you talking about? - I pretended like I didn't understand her.

- Katsuki is referring to the woman who followed us, Kwa. - Tsu said, being a very attentive frog.

- What are you talking about Tsu? What other woman? - Uraraka asked.

- I noticed her too. - Shoko added. - Akira, who was it?

- No one, you're imagining things.

- No, I wasn't imagining it. I saw her too. - Itsuka said.

- So who was it? - Momo asked a question.

- Everyone saw it, but me and Ochako missed it. - Mina grumbled and popped a candy in her mouth, drinking her tea.

- Enough of this. Speak up. - Katsuki tapped her hand on the table demandingly.

- Surrounding me on all sides...okay, this is Midori Mizuiro...my mother. - I gave in and told them, causing everyone's eyebrows to rise sharply.

- Your mother? - Ochako asked me.

- Yes,' I said with a sigh.

- But she...' Katsuki started to say, she knew my story since she overheard me and Shoko talking at the festival, but I finished speaking for her.

- ...abandoned. She left me when I was born, and my grandfather raised me. I don't know anything about my father at all...and I'll be honest, I'm not interested in who he is.

- Why did she pursue you? - Itsuka wondered.

- I think she wanted to apologise, but I didn't believe her and sent her away.

- Akira, you must talk to your mother. - Shoko suddenly said.

- No, I don't. - I said. - If she didn't want to have children, she should have learnt to protect herself instead of abandoning her child a couple of days after I was born.

- My relationship with my family is far from perfect, but you helped me make peace with my mother, and now I'm going to return the favour by making peace with your mother.

- Don't get your hopes up. - I turned away, but Shoko took my face in her hands.

- I won't let go, and if I have to, I'll drag you to her. - She said firmly, looking me straight in the eye. All the girls nodded in agreement, and even Katsuki nodded as a sign of willingness to help.

- Fine, I'll talk to her. - I gave in under the pressure. - But I can't promise more than that.

- Okay. - Shoko kissed me like a dog, like a praise for how good I was.

The other girls got the idea and started to take turns kissing me and making a lot of noise...causing the owner of the place to kick us out. Well nobody was upset, because I took us home, where we continued to have fun...and the girls wanted to distract me from bad thoughts.

Not a lot, but I wondered what my mother was doing here. My clone had discreetly bugged her and had a silent drone attached to spy on her.
