The arrival of the Elder Zhu and his disciple instantly cast a strange tension over the room.

"Hmph, Zhu Jian, entering my office without my permission—do you think breaking through to an eighth-grade weapon refiner means you can ignore me?"

Elder Bing, narrowing his eyes at the unfriendly pair of Elder Zhu and his disciple Bei Hao, gave a cold snort.

In the Weapon Alliance, the grade of a weapon refiner defined one's status, and as an eighth-grade weapon refiner, Elder Zhu naturally held a higher position than Elder Bing.

However, aside from their refining skills, both were Dou Zun experts and held leadership roles within the alliance. This made it impossible for Elder Zhu to overpower Elder Bing through status alone.

Unfazed by Elder Bing's unwelcoming attitude, Elder Zhu scanned the room with his sharp, hawk-like eyes before fixing his gaze on Mo Yu. His aura was imposing as he said, "Who is this boy? I've never seen him before. As an elder and enforcer of the alliance, I believe I have the right to investigate anyone entering headquarters."

Under the intense scrutiny of an eighth-grade weapon refiner and Dou Zun expert, Mo Yu felt immense pressure. The powerful aura pressed down like a towering mountain, making it hard to breathe.

Despite the pressure, Mo Yu's expression remained calm. Having weathered countless storms, his demeanor was steady and unflustered.

"Zhu Jian, this is not the place for you to act recklessly!" Elder Bing took a step forward, shielding Mo Yu. His overwhelming aura burst forth, dispersing the oppressive energy directed at Mo Yu.

"Elder Zhu, this young man is the junior of a close friend of my father's. His name is Xiao Huohuo, and he is also my master's honorary disciple. Since he hasn't joined the alliance, it's natural that you haven't seen him before," Lan Yinying explained from the side.

"Oh? Xiao Huohuo, and an honorary disciple of Bing Li?" Elder Zhu squinted, his gaze suspiciously scrutinizing Mo Yu.

Ever since Elder Zhu learned that his beloved disciple, Sun Wuji, had been killed by someone named Mo Yu, he had been consumed with hatred and a desire for revenge.

However, Mo Yu had proven elusive, with strong backing and ties to the Golden Warhorse Clan, leaving Elder Zhu with no immediate options. Recently, though, he had received intelligence suggesting that Mo Yu might have left Golden City and arrived in Wan Bing City.

The sudden appearance of this unfamiliar young man on Elder Bing's side naturally aroused suspicion. After all, Sun Wuji had been killed during a competition involving the Lan Clan—a family tied to Lan Yinying, Bing Li's disciple.

If not for Bing Li's interference, Elder Zhu would have wiped out the Lan Clan long ago.

Still, looking at the ordinary and cold youth before him, Elder Zhu frowned. Based on descriptions from the Tang Clan and Myriad Sword Pavilion, the Mo Yu they described did not match this "Xiao Huohuo."

"Zhu Jian, do I need your permission to bring a disciple here?" Elder Bing's expression darkened as he stared directly at Elder Zhu, showing no intention of backing down.

Under Elder Bing's sharp gaze, Elder Zhu's face grew grim. His wrinkled brow furrowed, and he took a deliberate step forward.

"Bing Li, that Mo Yu killed my disciple and is connected to your lineage. Regardless, this boy may have ties to Mo Yu. I demand to take him back for investigation!"

Elder Zhu's words broke the tense atmosphere, his powerful aura rippling through the room like a tidal wave, creating immense pressure.

"Hmph!"

Elder Bing coldly snorted, stepping forward as his overwhelming energy surged, directly suppressing Elder Zhu's aura.

"You're just a 1-star Dou Zun, Zhu Jian. Do you really think you can take Xiao Huohuo from me? Dream on! Do you think I'm afraid of you?" Elder Bing sneered.

Hearing this, Elder Zhu's expression turned darker. While he was superior in refining, he was merely a 1-star Dou Zun, whereas Bing Li was a 2-star Dou Zun.

"Enough! Both of you are prominent figures in the Western Region and Central Plains. Must you create such a fuss over a trivial matter?"

A mature, alluring voice suddenly interrupted from outside the door. Two stunning women with contrasting auras entered the room gracefully.

The unexpected arrival disrupted the confrontation. Mo Yu turned to look and saw the two beauties.

The woman on the left exuded youthful charm and was none other than Lu Qing'er, whom Mo Yu had seen before.

The woman on the right was a mature beauty, radiating allure like a ripe peach.

"That's Elder Cai Ya on the right and Lu Qing'er on the left," Lan Yinying whispered to Mo Yu. "Elder Cai Ya is one of our alliance's Five Elders and a seventh-grade peak weapon refiner.

"As for Lu Qing'er, she's her disciple. Currently, three of the Five Elders—my teacher, Elder Zhu, and Elder Cai Ya—are present. The other two are reclusive and rarely seen."

Mo Yu nodded slightly, already guessing the mature beauty's identity upon seeing Lu Qing'er.

However, he was surprised to sense that Cai Ya was also a Dou Zun expert. If so, all five elders of the Weapon Alliance were Dou Zun experts.

Unfortunately, the Weapon Alliance was a loose organization, as evidenced by the discord between Elder Bing and Elder Zhu. If united, the alliance would rival even the Four-Way Pavilion and the Three Valleys.

Cai Ya's arrival eased the tension between Elder Bing and Elder Zhu.

While the two couldn't stand each other, they understood that a full-blown fight would only result in mutual destruction.

"Hmph, Bing Li, I hear your disciple will participate in the upcoming refining convention. Let's see if your student is better than mine!"

With a cold snort, Elder Zhu glared at Mo Yu before leaving with Bei Hao.

Before leaving, Bei Hao sneered at Feng Mu and Lan Yinying. Though their refining skills were decent, they were far inferior to him.

Bei Hao's gaze then shifted to Mo Yu, his expression full of disdain.

Mo Yu remained expressionless, but his eyes gleamed coldly.

Whether it was Sun Wuji or Bei Hao, everyone under Elder Zhu's lineage was insufferable.

"Alas, Elder Bing, both you and Elder Zhu are esteemed elders of our alliance. Please strive for peace in the future," Elder Cai Ya sighed, her gaze shifting to Elder Bing.

"These decades-old grudges won't end unless one of us perishes," Elder Bing replied indifferently, waving his hand.

As he spoke, he pointed to Mo Yu. "Cai Ya, add my disciple Xiao Huohuo's name to the refining convention. He missed the registration deadline, so I'll need you, as the Administrative Elder, to make an exception."

"Hehe, Elder Bing, you're too polite. You're Cai Ya's predecessor and even guided me in the past. This is but a trivial matter; I'll take care of it in a while," Cai Ya said with a slight smile.

After speaking, Cai Ya's beautiful eyes glanced at Mo Yu. Regarding this young man who had caused a conflict between Elder Bing and Elder Zhu, her curiosity was piqued.

"So, your name is Xiao Huohuo, huh? Although I've never seen you under Elder Bing's tutelage, being able to make the principled Elder Bing open a backdoor for you must mean your refining skills are quite extraordinary," Cai Ya probed.

Facing the elegant and beautiful woman before him, Mo Yu cupped his hands slightly and said modestly, "Elder Cai Ya flatters me. I'm just here to join in the fun."

Seeing Mo Yu's unyielding demeanor, Cai Ya frowned slightly before smiling again. "Hehe, since you are Elder Bing's disciple, you must have some ability. I look forward to your performance in the Weapon Refining Convention."

"Now then, Qing'er and I shall take our leave so as not to disturb your reunion with your master," she added.

With that, Cai Ya and her apprentice bid farewell to Elder Bing and gracefully exited the office.

Having gone through so many twists and turns, Elder Bing naturally realized this wasn't the place for conversation. He turned to Mo Yu and the others and said, "The Weapon Refining Convention officially begins in three days. You can rest well until then.

However, the rare Weapon Refiner Trade Fair seems to have started today. Feng Mu, why don't you take your junior sister and brother to explore and enjoy yourselves?"

Hearing this, Feng Mu nodded and then turned to Mo Yu and Lan Yingying. "Hehe, allow me to lead you to the Weapon Refiner Trade Fair."

"The Weapon Refiner Trade Fair."

Standing before an expansive building, Mo Yu gazed at the elegant green wooden plaque with its bold calligraphy, feeling a spark of interest.

From Feng Mu's introduction, Mo Yu had learned that this trade fair was also sponsored by the Weapon Alliance and was the second-largest event in Wan Bing City, just behind the Weapon Refining Convention.

Countless weapon refiners and powerful experts would gather here to trade. Not only could one find rare treasures, but it was also a good opportunity to meet like-minded peers.

At this moment, outside the fair, the streets bustled with a sea of people. Streams of individuals dressed in the robes of weapon refiners passed through the heavily guarded gates under admiring gazes, entering the venue with ease.

"Is this the place?"

Mo Yu glanced at the grand trade fair before turning to Feng Mu.

"Indeed," Feng Mu replied with a smile.

Confirming their destination, Mo Yu smiled, and the trio headed toward the entrance.

When the stern-faced guards recognized Feng Mu and Lan Yingying, they immediately stepped aside and bowed respectfully to the three of them.

Beyond the gate was a wide and cool passageway. As Mo Yu and the others walked down the corridor, the deafening noise from inside suddenly washed over them, filling their ears.

Standing at the entrance to the corridor, Mo Yu scanned the scene before him. It was an enormous hall.

Within the hall, numerous neatly arranged stone platforms stood like stalls. Behind each platform sat someone who appeared to be a vendor, sitting cross-legged with an air of nonchalance—hardly resembling typical merchants. Naturally, they weren't.

The hall was bustling with people, most of whom were dressed in the robes of weapon refiners, clearly indicating their identities.

Many weapon refiners roamed the vast hall, occasionally stopping at certain platforms to carefully examine the items displayed. If they found something of interest, they would pause to negotiate terms with the vendor.

"Hehe, this trade fair is divided into different levels. This is the third-tier area. The second-tier area is on the second floor, and the first-tier area is at the top. However, access to the upper levels requires certain qualifications," Feng Mu explained with a smile from behind Mo Yu.

"To enter the second floor, one must have at least a sixth-grade weapon refiner's rank. As for the third floor, only seventh-grade weapon refiners or Dou Zun-level experts are eligible. However, as disciples of our master, we can access those areas by virtue of our status."

Hearing this, Mo Yu's interest was piqued. "Then let's head to the third floor."

At Mo Yu's suggestion, both Lan Yingying and Feng Mu were momentarily stunned. They exchanged glances before smiling wryly and nodding.

Although they were eligible to enter the third floor, the people and items there were undoubtedly of a far higher caliber. For them, it was somewhat ambitious. However, since Mo Yu was interested, they decided to accompany him.

Upon reaching the third floor, the boisterous noise diminished significantly. The third floor was spacious, its floors paved with gleaming crystal tiles that shone like mirrors, almost blinding to the eyes.

Crystal platforms were arranged across the floor, and the items displayed on them were clearly of far higher quality than those on the lower levels.

The third floor was far less crowded, and the individuals present carried themselves with an air of sophistication. They quietly observed the items they were interested in and negotiated with vendors in hushed tones.

Mo Yu's gaze swept across the crystal platforms before finally pausing at a particular item in a jade box.

Inside the jade box lay an oval-shaped crimson crystal, radiating a blood-red hue. Its aura was permeated with mysterious energy.

It was a Bloodfallen Demon Crystal, an extremely rare material born from the essence of strong beings' blood. It formed deep underground and was incredibly scarce.

Upon seeing the Bloodfallen Demon Crystal, Mo Yu's heart skipped a beat.

Ever since Elder Gui Zhu had shattered his Divine Might Black Thunder Spear, Mo Yu had been searching for materials to repair and enhance it. Unfortunately, he had not found anything suitable.

This Bloodfallen Demon Crystal, however, was precisely the key material he lacked. With it, Mo Yu was confident he could elevate the Divine Might Black Thunder Spear to the peak of the seventh-grade or even to the eighth-grade!

With this in mind, Mo Yu's gaze shifted to the vendor behind the crystal platform.

The vendor was an elderly man with a stern expression. His posture was upright, like a spear standing tall. His aura exuded sharpness, as if he were not a mere man but a sword radiating an icy chill.

Sensing the man's aura, Mo Yu was momentarily stunned and murmured to himself, "A Dou Zun expert…"
