Chapter 196 - 196 Back to Konoha

The wind swept across the battlefield, past the unyielding man. The fragments of armor that littered the ground were now gone, leaving only silence.

Simu focused, using Observation Haki to sense Uchiha Madara's body. His Sharingan eyes remained intact, still in his body, confirming that Madara was truly dead.

There was no Izanagi to alter this truth.

Simu walked over to Madara's body, lifting his clothes to reveal the face above his chest.

It was a human face made of First Hokage's cells, granting Madara the power to use Wood Style.

This combination of Hashirama's Sage Body and Uchiha's Sharingan had birthed the double Rinnegan that Nagato had.

Simu muttered, "Was it the lack of chakra?"

Or was it Madara's pride that stopped him from escaping?

Either way, even if Madara tried to use Izanagi, Simu's Observation Haki would likely sense it.

For all practical purposes, Madara's death was clear.

The next step was clear: take Madara's body to Konoha.

As the first being to combine the Sage Body and Sharingan, Madara's corpse held immense value.

Simu took out two sealing scrolls and sealed both the eight fasts and Madara's body inside.

Meanwhile, his three disciples finally emerged from the ruins, struggling to stand.

"Cough...cough..." Obito gasped, still weak from the battle.

Kakashi fared better, using Earth Style ninjutsu to protect Rin. Meanwhile, Obito was clearly frustrated.

"Kakashi, why didn't you wrap me in it too?" he complained.

Kakashi pulled his mask down and replied coolly, "Forget it."

"What?!" Obito was about to argue, but just then, a figure of the same size appeared before them.

Minato glanced at Simu, who, despite the injury on his shoulder, seemed unharmed. Only then did he finally relax.

"Did you win?" Minato asked.

Simu nodded, giving a brief, "It's settled."

Minato, relieved but still concerned, frowned.

"It was too risky to fight on Uchiha Madara alone. This is the legendary Uchiha Madara! What if something happened to you? Konoha would be in chaos again."

"First, you raided the Land of Water, and now you've challenged Uchiha Madara alone. I really have to hand it to you," Minato said, a mix of admiration and concern in his voice.

If he had known who Simu was going up against, he would have tried everything to stop him.

Simu scratched his head casually. "Don't worry, if I can't handle an old man who's barely hanging on, how can I be Konoha's Hokage?"

Obito, overhearing the conversation, realized something. The man who had saved his life and mentored him was gone, and he couldn't help but feel uneasy.

Although Uchiha Madara had tried to kill him, and he knew from Rin that it was all part of Madara's plan, it still didn't feeling well with him.

Simu noticed Obito's discomfort and reached out, ruffling his hair. "Let's go. Time to head back to Konoha."

With the serious matters handled, Simu's next step was to clean up Konoha and prepare for the larger task ahead, conquering the entire Ninja World!

When the news of Simu's return to Konoha spread, the entire village erupted with excitement.

Sarutobi and Shimura, who were in charge of the village's security, could only watch helplessly as the crowd cheered.

Simu, sitting cross-legged atop the head of Two-Tails, looked out over the village.

Behind him stood the Tailed Beasts—Four-Tails, Five-Tails, and the recently captured Three-Tails, all standing proudly.

At Simu's request, the Tailed Beasts suppressed their Chakra to a minimum, but an ominous aura still lingered in the air.

"Is this what the legendary Tailed Beasts are like?" some villagers whispered.

"There's definitely a strange atmosphere about them."

"I've heard that Tailed Beasts are extremely violent. They won't harm us, right?"

The concerns were quickly addressed by others in the crowd.

"It's been a long time since we've seen you back in the village. As long as the Fourth Hokage is here, there's nothing to worry about."

"That's right! Matatabi has saved countless lives on the battlefield. She's the guardian of Konoha!"

"Yes, yes! Matatabi saved my life!" Several villagers chimed in, expressing their gratitude.

Hearing these words, Two-Tails narrowed her eyes contentedly. She had been with Simu the longest and had made the most contributions in battle.

Because of this, many ninjas in Konoha held her in high regard.

Additionally, Simu often walked through the village with the Tailed Beasts, making the villagers of Konoha the least fearful of them in the entire ninja world.

Listening to the conversation around them, both Three Tails and Five Tails seemed thoughtful.

Meanwhile, the arrogant Four Tails snorted coldly, though deep down, he felt a bit happy.

After all, being a Tailed Beast had always meant being seen as a disaster or a problem.

Now, to suddenly be admired and respected—this feeling was... indescribable... and comfortable.

Tailed Beasts are sentient, and after living in an environment of constant misunderstanding and blame, they become more sensitive to genuine respect and affection.

It's why Tailed Beasts can live in harmony with their perfect Jinchūriki.

In recent days, thanks to Shikaku's actions, Simu's reputation soared even higher.

He went to the Land of Water alone to rescue his disciples, defeated the Mizukage and the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, and captured Three Tails.

These feats spread throughout the village, boosting Simu's fame.

Many villagers even started comparing him to the First Hokage.

After all, even the Third Hokage, who had been in power for decades, did not have such an impressive record as Simu.

Simu had subdued the four Tailed Beasts, defeated two Kages, and even killed the so-called Demigod Hanzo, that's three big accomplishments!

He single-handedly made a ninja village surrender.

Among these feats, how many could Sarutobi Hiruzen achieve?

Only First Hokage Hashirama might be able to match Simu's strength.

Simu, wearing the Fourth Hokage's robes, stood tall amidst the overwhelming cheers of the people. Loyal Konoha had welcomed its new master.

A figure suddenly rushed toward Simu, and the Anbu assigned to protect him readied themselves, but then recognized the person approaching, Uzumaki Kushina.

The Anbu quickly stepped aside.

They knew well the character of Mrs. Hokage. It was one thing to annoy the Hokage... but if you upset Kushina, she wouldn't hesitate to punch you without mercy.

Kushina threw herself into Simu's arms, and as he inhaled the familiar scent of her hair, he felt a sense of relief wash over him.

The sight of them together only fueled the excitement of the Konoha villagers. The crowd erupted in cheers, their voices booming across the village:

"Fourth Hokage!"

"Fourth Hokage!"

"Fourth Hokage!"

The chants echoed through the streets like a wave of energy.

From a nearby window, a little girl leaned out, stretching as far as she could. Her mother quickly grabbed her arm in concern.

At that moment, the girl threw something into the air. Several Anbu ninjas appeared instantly, stopping the object mid-flight.

It was a flower banquet.

The girl's mother apologized with a sheepish smile. Simu waved it off, shaking his head gently.

Turning to the Anbu, he said, "It's just a little girl's gift. Can it hurt me? Take it here."

"Yes, Hokage!"

Anbu quickly handed the flower to Simu. He smiled at the little girl, offering a friendly wave in return.

Simu knelt down and softly said, "Extinguish the flame above your head."

Two-tails was momentarily stunned but quickly lowered the flame. Simu then placed the flower on Two-tails's head.

The little girl's disappointment turned into surprise and excitement!

She jumped up, pointing at Two-tails and exclaimed, "Civet cat! Mom, look, the big civet cat has brought the flower I made!"

Two-tails paused for a moment at the mention of "big civet cat" before smiling at the little girl.

"The big civet cat smiled at me!"

The crowd's cheers grew louder, echoing even to an old man resting on the Sarutobi estate.

Hearing the noise, Sarutobi Hiruzen took a long drag from his cigarette. Faced with the overwhelming celebration, it seemed impossible to bring Simu down now.

The commotion didn't die down until Simu walked into the Hokage building.

Simu had the four tailed beasts settled in the Death 2.4 Forest. He didn't restrict their movements, and if they wished to roam elsewhere, that was fine with him.

After stepping away from the chaos, Simu entered the conference room where Shikaku, Inoichi, Fugaku, and others were waiting.

As soon as he walked in, Shikaku began reporting all the matters that had piled up recently.

Simu rubbed his forehead, then spoke sharply, "You can discuss these matters. Just leave it to Minato and Shikaku to handle."

Shikaku opened his mouth to reply, but Simu had already disappeared into his office. Shikaku sighed and looked over at Minato.

Minato shrugged, "It's not the first time you've seen this side of him."

Simu could confront the five major powers without hesitation, but when it came to government affairs, he was far less interested.

So, the responsibility fell to Minato and Shikaku.

Meanwhile, Simu had already headed home. Just as he was about to hug Lindy and Mikoto, they stopped him.

"Sorry, Simu-kun," Mikoto said softly, "We're both pregnant."
