Chapter 455 - True Three Great Factions and Dimensional Forbidden Zones

In the Chaotic Star Sea, there existed a supercluster whose location was unknown to anyone.

The entire starfield where the supercluster was located seemed to have been wiped from the universe, rendering it unobservable.

The owner of this supercluster was one of the earliest members of the Nightfall Society, and the only one known to the Immortal Particle.

"Void Godking…"

Rosen had spent a long time searching through the Book of Fate but found no trace of the Void Godking.

According to the information provided by the Immortal Particle, the Void Godking had created a unique race—the Void Deity Race—and ruled over it as their king. He was also one of the immortal godfiends in the universe closest to attaining eternal life.

In the eyes of the Immortal Particle, the Void Godking had long since qualified to return to eternal life.

But for reasons unknown, the Void Godking had yet to take that final step—a step all reincarnated eternal beings dreamed of achieving.

Rosen wanted to locate the Void Supercluster not only to hunt down the Void Godking, but also to seize the Void Origin Seed.

The Void Origin Seed was a space-type origin seed, holding dominion over the concept of "nothingness" and capable of erasing everything within a region of the void.

It was by using the Void Origin Seed that the Void Godking had erased the very presence of the Void Supercluster, allowing it to become hidden in the universe.

It would have been one thing if Rosen didn't know about the Void Godking. But now that he did, it was only a matter of time before he found him.

As long as the Void Godking continued using the origin seed to draw from the universe's source via the Heart of the Universe, Rosen could trace that connection and pinpoint his location somewhere within the Chaotic Star Sea.

Rosen couldn't precisely determine which origin seed was drawing power from the Heart of the Universe.

But he could eliminate them one by one, using the eggs of the Dark Sun Broodmother to probe each target.

Several days passed in a flash, and Rosen had already narrowed down a few suspicious candidates.

There were only a handful of immortal godfiends in the entire universe capable of detecting the Broodmother's eggs.

Every target Rosen strongly suspected had unhatched brood eggs within them.

Using space-time portals, he approached each target closely, and then observed from a distance with the Eye of the Creator.

Before long, he located the non-existent Void Supercluster. No matter how well its presence was concealed by void erasure, it was impossible to evade the lock-on of a space-type origin seed at close range. However, if he were to directly intrude, it would surely alert the Void Godking.

So Rosen prepared to strike from the outside, planning to slice away the space containing the Void Supercluster entirely.

The Creator Domain spread silently across the void, like cream poured over a soccer ball. The domain flowed like cream, gradually enveloping the entire Void Supercluster. The moment it was fully enclosed, he activated the dimensional seal.

The entire domain, along with the Void Supercluster, collapsed into a dimensional scroll that began to shrink rapidly.

Rosen stuffed the dimensional scroll into the Creator's Codex, which nearly burst apart.

Because inside the dimensional scroll, the Void Godking was already doing everything in his power to tear it apart.

Fortunately, the power of the Primal Space and the Space Origin Seed suppressed the Void Origin Seed's abilities, so the Void Godking couldn't break free of the seal immediately. Once the scroll was transferred to a Primal World fragment, the Void Godking would have no way to escape.

Moments later, the Void Godking finally tore open the dimensional scroll with the aid of an eternal relic.

However, the moment he sensed the spatial strength of the Primal World fragment, recognized Rosen on the other side, and saw the Plague High Deity standing next to him, the Void Godking felt his heart freeze. To him, this was practically a death sentence.

"You're counting on the Nightfall Society to protect your avatar? Unless your avatar never steps out again."

Rosen directly exposed the Void Godking's hidden last resort.

The Void Godking's heart went completely cold in an instant. The old fisherman—his true body and other avatars had all been dealt with by Rosen, and only the avatar hiding in the Nightfall Society was left, half-dead. Lately, that avatar had been so destitute it was begging others for scraps.

Thinking about how his avatar would end up once his true body died, the Void Godking couldn't help but shudder.

Rosen didn't strike immediately. Instead, he exposed the Godking's survival tactic.

Clearly, Rosen didn't want to kill him.

The Void Godking stood silently for a long while before finally lowering his head and kneeling on one knee in submission.

"Hand over your Void Origin Seed."

Rosen said with delight.

Resigned, the Void Godking extracted his Void Origin Seed and stripped it of its eternal will. Though losing the seed nearly halved his strength, he still had other origin seeds as backups. Better to live with his head bowed than die at Rosen's hands.

As Rosen fed the Void Origin Seed to the Space Origin Seed, he began questioning the Void Godking about the Nightfall Society.

Now resigned to his fate, the Void Godking confirmed that speaking the truth here would not alert the Nightfall Society. Without holding back, he revealed all their secrets, unraveling many of the mysteries that had troubled Rosen for a long time.

Back during the great melee among the Eternal Lives, Rosen had always harbored a few lingering doubts he couldn't quite resolve.

With over a thousand Eternal Lives in existence, could it really be that all of them were reckless brutes?

Surely, at least a few of them should've tried to play it smart—staying in the shadows, waiting to reap the spoils. Wouldn't that have been the wiser move?

And yet, every Eternal Life had charged in head-on like berserkers. Not a single one tried to play the fisherman waiting on the sidelines.

That clearly wasn't normal. The reason lay in a secret consensus reached by the vast majority of Eternal Lives.

If anyone dared to sit back and play fisherman, the rest would band together and kill them first.

Because in the eyes of the Eternal Lives, the universe didn't have much time left for them.

If they relied on steady cultivation to build up strength, there was no chance they could survive the destruction of the universe.

So the only path left was to hunt one another—trading blood for rapid growth.

After the brutal internal strife, the Eternal Lives split into three factions.

These three factions did not include today's Chaotic Star Sea or the Heaven-Scorching Star Palace.

One faction consisted solely of the ancient god who had been slaying the World Tree for many years—this faction was also the most dangerous of the three.

Next was the faction formed by the surviving Eternal Lives of the Holy Temple.

And finally, there was a hidden faction: the Nightfall Society, composed of reborn Eternal Lives who had reincarnated as undying godfiends.

Back when the Eternal Lives fought like a pot of poison worms, not all of them aspired to become Primordial Lives.

Some Eternal Lives had modest ambitions. They just wanted to live each day as it came and survive until the universe ended.

These Eternal Lives were unwilling to throw themselves into a deathmatch. They would rather join forces and hide.

To drag this group into the chaos, the other Eternal Lives ultimately created the Nightfall Society.

The original Nightfall Societyoriginated from a supernatural structure left behind by a Primordial Life—something akin to a room.

If the universe were to be destroyed one day, the Nightfall Societywouldn't be able to protect the true bodies of the Eternal Lives, nor even the true forms of undying godfiends—but it had a high chance of ensuring the survival of avatars at the True God level.

That's why the Nightfall Society established its current rule: every member may station one True God-level avatar within it.

This sliver of survival for True God avatars was a form of compensation granted by the victorious Eternal Lives to the defeated ones.

But no one had anticipated what happened next—the Nightfall Society broke free of the Eternal Lives' control.

At some unknown point, the Nightfall Society suddenly sprouted a mysterious plant called the Dusk Parasitic Bloom.

This plant could latch onto memories—and even erase all knowledge of the Nightfall Society from the world.

Even Eternal Lives themselves forgot about the Nightfall Society after that fateful night.

According to the Void Godking's subtle probing, all the Eternal Lives he knew had forgotten about the Nightfall Society. Perhaps ancient gods like the one from the first faction hadn't forgotten—but the Void Godking had no way of confirming that.

To this day, besides Rosen and the World Tree, only the members of the Nightfall Societythemselves knew of its existence.

And even then, ordinary members only knew of the Nightfall Society's name—they had no idea of its origins.

Only the first batch of members, including the Void Godking—fewer than ten in total—retained the memories of its true beginnings.

Because of this, they also uncovered the Nightfall Society's deepest secret: its purpose wasn't just to survive the destruction of the universe.

Rather, if all the Dark Sun Source Seeds were destroyed, a Primordial Life would appear and take the Nightfall Society away.

It was obvious—the sudden emergence of the Dusk Parasitic Bloom was tied to a Primordial Life.

This caused a massive split among the original members of the Nightfall Society.

Some believed the Primordial Life harbored ill intent. Even if destroying all the Dark Sun Source Seeds could prompt it to take the Nightfall Society away, there was no guarantee how it would treat them. They didn't want to gamble their lives on the mercy of a Primordial Life.

The other group believed this was their only chance of survival.

If they didn't seize this opportunity, they would inevitably perish alongside the universe.

No one could say for sure whether the Primordial Life's intentions were good or evil—but with a fifty-fifty chance of success, why not take the gamble?

The Void Godking belonged to the resigned-hedonist camp, so he didn't involve himself in the matter of the Dark Sun Source Seeds.

As for those first-generation members eager to destroy the Source Seeds, they had never stopped pursuing them. The Old Fisherman and the Immortal Particle heading to the Ancient God's world to seize a Dark Sun Source Seed might very well have been acting at their behest.

Now that Rosen had learned the Nightfall Society's secret, he immediately upgraded its threat level to the highest tier.

At the same time, for the first time, Rosen gained a direct understanding of just how terrifying the Primordial Lifeforms were.

No one knew where the Primordial Lifeform was, yet through the Nightfall Society and a single Night Parasite Bloom, it managed to make all Eternal Lifeforms forget about the Nightfall Society. The overwhelming gap in power displayed through this was staggering.

Filled with unease, Rosen saw the Void Godking off.

He would become Rosen's eyes within the Nightfall Society, keeping watch over its every move.

Rosen wasn't worried that the Void Godking would turn against him after escaping. The moment he handed over the Void Seed, he had already admitted complete defeat. Even when he still had the Void Seed, he couldn't escape Rosen's grasp—without it, unless he hid within the Holy Temple, Rosen could end his life at any moment.

Three years passed in the Mysterious Study Room in the blink of an eye. The Spatial Seed had completely devoured the Void Seed.

By now, the Spatial Seed had fully ascended from an Eternal Seed into a Primordial Core.

However, it wasn't a Spatial Core—it had become a Void Core.

After devouring both the Void Seed and the Voidless Seed, the resulting Void Core still generated Primordial Spatial Power. However, its production efficiency had increased by over a hundredfold. As a Void Core, it was no longer suppressed by the nine Spatial Seeds controlled by the Old Gods.

Sensing the immense power of the Void Core, Rosen felt he now had a certain level of confidence in escaping from the Dimensional Forbidden Zone intact.

He had tested it—the Void Core allowed him to forcibly disengage from fragments of the Primordial World.

That meant even if he ventured deep into the Dimensional Forbidden Zone, he could still forcibly retreat.

Now that he had an escape route, there was no reason not to go to the Dimensional Forbidden Zone.

Time flew by, the years passed like a shuttle weaving thread.

Rosen spent a full ten years in the real world preparing. With a thousandfold time acceleration, he finally completed his preparations to enter the Dimensional Forbidden Zone.

He needed to stockpile enough Primordial Spatial Power. Simply having the means to escape the Forbidden Zone wasn't enough—his goal was to seize the Dimensional Seed deep within the zone. Without sufficient Primordial Spatial Power, he wouldn't even be able to retrieve it if he found it.

Rosen passed through the Temporal-Spatial Crossing Gate and arrived at the Dimensional Forbidden Zone located within the depths of the Cosmic Origin Sea.

It was only through the Void Godking that he learned the Holy Temple was stationed right at the entrance to the Dimensional Forbidden Zone. Not only did they intend to devour the Heart of the Universe, they also wanted to make the entire Dimensional Forbidden Zone a part of the Holy Temple's microcosm.

So entering through normal channels was impossible. Even the Void Godking could only enter with the Holy Temple's permission.

The moment Rosen smuggled himself into the Dimensional Forbidden Zone through the Temporal-Spatial Crossing Gate, the surrounding dimensional space began to distort and fold.

It was as if this outsider had disrupted the balance of dimensions within the Forbidden Zone.

By the time the dimensional space around him settled, he had already been sent to the outermost edge of the Dimensional Forbidden Zone—the four-dimensional space.

Eternal Lifeforms possessed a profoundly deep understanding of the universe's dimensions.

In reality, the entire universe existed within four-dimensional space.

Higher-dimensional areas did exist, but only in isolated pockets rather than as a whole.

The divine kingdoms of True Gods and Great True Gods, the Immortal Worlds of Undying Demonic Gods, and the Eternal Worlds of Eternal Lifeforms—all of these were multidimensional spaces that surpassed four dimensions. The highest known dimensional space was the eleven-dimensional space where fragments of the Primordial World existed.

The higher the dimensional level of a space, the more powerful supernatural forces became.

If a being had died ten thousand years ago in the normal universe, it would be extremely difficult for even an Eternal Lifeform to resurrect them.

But in an Eternal World, an Eternal Lifeform could resurrect countless beings with a mere thought.

The Dimensional Forbidden Zone was fully capable of constructing eleven-dimensional space on par with Primordial World fragments. However, in practice, its highest dimension was only four. Compared to normal space, aside from extremely high spatial strength, the Forbidden Zone didn't appear much different.

Although the Void Seed had fused into the Void Core, its nullifying abilities had not disappeared.

Rosen erased his own presence and began wandering through the outermost layer of four-dimensional space.

This outer edge of the Dimensional Forbidden Zone was completely occupied by the Holy Temple.

Clusters of super-galaxies floated throughout the void—hundreds of them, in various sizes.

Insignificant on the universal scale, yet already enormous by the standards of Eternal Worlds.

For reference, even the Old God World was just a one-light-year-wide paper-thin realm. Even if the Dimensional Forbidden Zone wasn't a physical world but a hollow bubble-like space, building an area vast enough to house hundreds of super-galaxy clusters was still an incredible feat.

Rosen could only conclude: even if you added together a hundred Eternal Worlds, they still wouldn't compare to the outer edge of the Dimensional Forbidden Zone.

If the Dimensional Holy God was merely an Eternal Lifeform, then even the current Old Gods were no match for a being capable of shaping a world of such scale.

Rosen began to suspect that this wasn't an Eternal World at all—but a Primordial World.
