Chapter 30 - Broken Sword pt.2

My heart was beating wildly as my gaze slowly shifted to the sword, it was almost identical to the one we had on the table. The only difference was the shape they were in, this one was undamaged and looked sharp enough to cut diamonds, yet ours was slightly dulled and had a small crack down the middle of the blade.

The woman was like a manikin as she stood there waiting, her pale skin as well as the clothes she wore, resembled the same color as the sword in her hand.

I prepared myself to make a move; hoping that the blindfold meant she couldn't see. As soon as my body twitched, she swung the blade at me.

I had barely got out of the way of the strike, I frantically crawled backwards after ducking out of the way. My eyes widened as I looked to where I previously stood.

The wall had been cleanly slice in half and seemed to continue forward to the outside of the house, even the floor and ceiling had been cut.

I continued backwards in shock until my back hit the front bed frame, looking up I could see her head turn towards me with an unchanging expression.

"Who are you, what do you want!?!? I'm not just some nobody you can just kill easily, so tell me who you work for before this gets really bad."

The woman said nothing as she turned and slowly walked towards me, a toothy grin appeared on her faces as she grew closer.

Seeing as there was no answer I slammed my hand on the bed frame and a secret compartment opened up. A tray slid out beside me presenting an assault rifle, pulling it, I loaded it up and put my hand on the trigger.

As I prepared to squeeze, I found myself looking up at the ceiling. My body felt as light as air; as if I were floating. The only thing I could feel at that moment was something strong wrapped around my throat.

I gasped for air as I gripped the rist of something big, my eyes began watering as I looked to see a man that looked the same as the woman.

The man was tall with bulging muscles, his hair and skin were white like hers, and he wore the same clothing. But the man had golden cracks littering his as if golden rivers flowed through his veins.

The mans eyes glowed golden as he held me, I could feel my body falling back down as his grip loosened. Using nothing but raw strength he slammed me through the bed and the floor, as I fell through the floor I could see the woman standing beside him as they watched.

I came crashing down into the living room, my body crashed through the glass table in the middle of the room.

Every inch of my body ached as I slowly turned over to my stomach, shards of glass littered my skin, but I tried to ignore it as I crawled towards the gun near the couch.

My ears perked up as the stairs began to creek, without looking I could tell the woman was behind me. Her footsteps were light and quiet, but there was no hiding that dark feeling I could feel emanating from her.

The man jumped through the hole landing were I fell, the ground cracked beneath him as he landed, even from such a fall his body held such strength.

Small shards of glass were sent in every direction when he landed, my finger received a small cut as I reached for the gun.

As I grabbed it, I hit a red button that was placed beside it, on the side of the couch:

"I already told you, this won't be easy."

From the ceiling and through the wall four androids rushed at the intruders, one grabbed the man from behind as the other assaulted him from the front.

The woman continued forward as she gracefully cut through the other two androids with one swing. I began shooting at her as she moved towards me but nothing seemed to get through.

The air around her seemed to move on it's own, parting everything, not daring to even let the outside air reach her. The bullets stopped in front of her as she moved, she reached out and grabbed one of the bullets and looked at it.

Her head tilted to the side as her head turned back to me, her toothy grin appeared once more as she dropped the bullet; causing the others to follow suit.

I could feel my hair being pulled as I was slowly raised off the ground, my eyes became teary as my feet began dangling in the air.

Looking behind the woman I could see all of the androids destroyed on the floor, and the man nowhere to be seen. The android that attacked him layed lifeless with a hole through it's head, while the other was seemingly ripped in half; with it's head flattened as if it were stomped in.

I screamed out as I tried to free myself from his grip, I tried to push off of his body but he stood there unfazed, even as I tried kicking him.

My screams became silent as the air was sucked from my lungs, the room around me became dim as my mouth filled with the taste of iron. Slowly looking down I could see his large bloodied hand sticking from my abdomen.

As it grew darker the woman stood infront of me with what looked like sadness on her face, she seemed..., disappointed.

She wiped the blood from my lips as she caressed my cheek, she moved the strands of hair from my face, tucking them behind my ear.

Taking a step back, she placed her sword away and slowly reached up and began removing her blindfold. I could see the beautiful golden eyes she hid, except one of them had this darkness that swam in it. It moved as if it were a ghostly ocean of shadows.

"Told..... You... Easy."

My vision faded completely into darkness as she swiftly moved her hand....

Slicing Sofia's throat...., ending...., her life.
