"Why do we need to choose some kind of book?" asked a boy "Well, do you want survive?" said the spirit. The answer only brought fear. "How can we back home then?" someone suddenly asked "It's simple, you need to get through the tenth floor of the dungeon"
After the spirits answer every person had one goal in mind, getting out of that place, and return home.
"So... what will you be chosing?" asked Joon-ho "Probably 'basic bow techniques' and..." answered Seul-gi while still thinking of what she will choose "... probably the 'guide to enhancing senses', what about you Spark?"
"You know I have a name" said Spark in an irritated voice "But I'll probably choose 'basic dagger techniques' and... ' body strengthening techniques'" "Great, so I'll choose 'basics of mana' and 'basics of ice magic'" replied Joon-ho in a enthusiastic voice.
"Why so, I thought you would choose something more flashy, because of how much of an a**hole you are" and as Seul-gi said that Joon-ho was ready to pounce on her and attack her, but before that happened Spark asked a question.
"So... do you wanna make a team or something?", the question made the two of them a bit less willing to attack each other on the spot. "Yeah sure, why not" said Seul-gi with a bit of relief in her voice.
"What, you don't have any friends to go to" answered Joon-ho in a teasing voice, followed by Spark slapping him in the back of the head.
After everyone made their choice of books, everyone received two half-transparent pearls and and some people even got weapons, like Spark got six daggers and Seul-gi got a bow and a quiver full of arrows.
And when everyone was checking out their new possessions, four doors appeared on each of the walls. "Go, explore this dungeon" the spirit said and it looked like he was going to disappear.
But someone interrupted his leave "Where are the books you were talking about?" asked Spark with an angry voice "I can't believe how forgetful I'm today. When you lightly squise on the pearl a book appears or you can just say 'system open book' and you choose a book in your possession" answerd the spirit to Sparks question and finally took his leave.
Spark and a few other people tried it and everyone who did got a book in their hands. And everyone opened their books, inside were 5 chapters each focusing on a different thing.
Other people also made groupes, but we're lost on what to do.
"So what should we do?" asked Spark to the other two " I guess we should read the books before doing anything, right?" said Seul-gi and patiently waiting for an answer, "I mean we can't go out defenseless" Joon-ho said.
"So it's settled, it's studying time" answered Spark with enthusiasm.
The group sat down and started reading, Seul-gi started with 'basic bow techniques', Joon-ho started with 'basics of ice magic' and Spark started with the 'basics of dagger techniques'.
While they were studying, Spark and Seul-gi were using their weapons to train while Joon-ho was making bigger and bigger ice cubes.
While they were doing that some groups started to go out of the 'main room' after only reading their books for around a hour.
"Uhhh... Why does studying need to be so hard" said Seul-gi breaking the silence after studying for around 3 hour. "My body is so sore" added Seul-gi while stretching.
"It was your idea to study" complained Joon-ho while looking exhausted "At the very least, did you two learn something useful?" asked Spark with an even more tired voice.
" I feel ready" answered Seul-gi "Me too" added Joon-ho "So do you want to go now?". "Absolutely not!" answered Joon-ho without a second thought "I'm to tired for this" added Seul-gi "I need to rest a bit".
In the end they took an one hour power-nap after their training session. Right on the cold brick floor.
