Shin could see a strange flicker of temptation on Chika Fujiwara's face, but in the end, she restrained herself.
Chika Fujiwara wasn't some kind of pervert. Although she had been thrown into confusion by Ai Hayasaka's earlier sophistry, she wasn't going to betray Kaguya Shinomiya so easily.
"She actually held back. I thought something might happen."
Watching Chika Fujiwara flee in a panic, Shin stroked his chin, thoughtfully gazing in the direction she had left.
The expression on Chika Fujiwara's face earlier had clearly shown that she was entertaining some naughty thoughts. If Shin had pushed a little harder, she might have reluctantly agreed.
After all, Ai Hayasaka had previously told Shin that Chika Fujiwara had once said something like, "If it's forceful treatment, it's not entirely unacceptable."
So perhaps Chika Fujiwara was a bit like Ai Hayasaka now, with a slight masochistic tendency.
However, rather than forcing her, Shin was more interested in seeing if Chika Fujiwara would develop some strange interest, like "cheating in front of the wife," due to Ai Hayasaka's earlier sophistry.
Knowing full well that Shin was Kaguya Shinomiya's "fiancé," but still wanting to do *that* with Shin behind Kaguya's back… It seemed Chika Fujiwara was slowly heading in that direction.
Although in the original work Shin had seen, Chika Fujiwara didn't seem to exhibit such peculiar interests, tastes could always be cultivated, right?
Shin suddenly felt like he understood Gilgamesh's mindset in Fate/Zero. When he turned Kirei Kotomine into a pleasure-seeking villain, it was probably the same kind of psychology.
...
When Shin returned home, he heard Tohru's report about what everyone at home had been up to today.
"Enrolled Illya and Kanna in school?"
Hearing Tohru's report, Shin was a bit surprised, but upon reflection, it made sense. Both Illya and Kanna were elementary school students, so enrolling them in school wasn't strange.
Kanna, as a dragon, probably hadn't received any systematic human education in her world, so attending elementary school here would be a good way for her to learn.
As for Illya, she was already an elementary school student. It wouldn't make sense for her to stop going to school just because she had moved to a new place. There was no Einzbern family here to provide her with private tutoring like in Fate/Stay Night.
And even if there were, Shin probably wouldn't hand Illya over to the Einzbern family. Who knows what kind of nonsense that mage family would teach her?
"Yep, they've even been assigned classes. They can start school with Kanna tomorrow."
Illya was in the living room, spinning around with her new backpack, seemingly trying to show it off to Shin, a smile on her face.
From her tone, it wasn't hard to tell that she had quickly gotten along with everyone in the house and had a good relationship with Kanna—after all, they were going to be classmates.
Although moving to a new world had initially been a bit disorienting for Illya, having her "parents" here made it easier for her to adjust.
Besides, living in a new world with her parents was much easier than being a magical girl and fighting battles. This world didn't seem to have any dangerous elements.
Well… Illya didn't know yet that Tohru and Kanna were dragons, but there would be plenty of opportunities for her to find out later. Shin didn't feel the need to tell her right away.
"How did you manage to get them identities?"
Although Illya and Kanna's enrollment had gone smoothly, Shin was curious about how they had managed to get identities for the two girls.
After all, their origins were unclear. While they didn't usually need identification for daily activities in Japan, things like school enrollment definitely required it.
"When Hayasaka visited us before, she left us her contact information and said to call her if we ever needed help from the Shinomiya family."
Sayu Ogiwara explained with a smile.
"So we gave her a call, and she took care of it right away."
Ah, that made sense… Indeed, Ai Hayasaka was now, in a way, the bridge between the Shinomiya family and Shin's group.
As long as Ai Hayasaka spoke in Shin's name, the Shinomiya family would immediately fulfill any request—getting two identities was a trivial matter for the Shinomiya conglomerate.
"By the way, Dad, can you still summon Servants?"
Illya ran over and threw herself into Shin's arms, asking him affectionately.
Although she was supposed to call Shin "brother" when outsiders were around, everyone in the living room was family, so Illya naturally called him "Dad," as she was used to.
"Unfortunately, I can only summon once."
Shin hugged Illya and shrugged—of course, he wished he could retain the ability to summon Servants multiple times, but the system didn't allow it.
Maybe if he went back to the Fate world, he could figure out a way to steal the entire Holy Grail summoning system?
Shin remembered that in the *Fate* series, there were several factions that had either usurped or replicated the Holy Grail system. Shin could definitely learn from them and create a Holy Grail system in this mundane world.
He could even strip away the Greater and Lesser Grails, keeping only the Servant summoning system.
While it would be difficult for a normal person to maintain a Servant's existence without the Holy Grail, relying solely on their own power, Shin certainly didn't lack magical energy.
"Is that so? That's a shame. I was hoping you could summon Miyu and Kuro too."
Hearing Shin's words, Illya was a bit disappointed, but she didn't push the matter.
The Miyu and Kuro she mentioned were also characters from Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya. Miyu was a transfer student, and Kuro was the manifestation of Illya's inner personality. The three of them were close friends, often appearing together in various spin-off works.
Now that Illya had been summoned here alone, it was natural for her to think of the other two and hope Shin could summon them as well.
"...I'll figure something out as soon as possible."
Shin could only pat her head and offer some reassurance for now.
"Don't worry, Dad will fulfill your wish soon."
Irisviel picked Illya up from Shin's arms, holding her close and smiling.
"Have faith in your dad's power."
Perhaps because Shin had truly fulfilled her wish by summoning Illya—and a normal Illya at that—Irisviel now had complete trust in Shin.
It was as if there was nothing Shin couldn't accomplish.
