Clang—
The crisp sound shook his brain, leaving him feeling a dizzying sensation and unable to suppress a cry of pain, as he fell from the tree and crashed into a snowdrift that hadn't yet completely melted, forming a pit.
"Yeah—!"
"Big brother!!"
"I'll fight you—"
The two little demons perched on the treetop cried out, their eyes reddening with rage as they were about to charge forward desperately, only to see the guard driving the carriage remove the hood from his head, revealing amber-colored eyes, jet-black hair, and a pair of perked-up cat ears.
The sharp gaze instantly froze their breath, along with the arrogance in their eyes that faded away.
"Oh no! It's Sarah!"
"Sitting in the carriage, could it be—"
"Lord Demon King?!" The unlucky little thing crawled out from the snowdrift, stammering in a frozen state.
Sarah looked at them coldly, her right hand already gripping the sword hilt, her voice icy like the snow hanging on the Silver Pine.
