His character and experiences, along with the friendships he built, also made Leon trust and feel at ease with Yevan.
Therefore, Leon entrusted him with the proxy authority to manage the headquarters of the Holy War Alliance and the Eastern affairs, to serve as a communication bridge between the Kantadar people within the alliance and the emerging external lords. This task was most suited to Yevan, a local.
As for the Mamor Family, initially Count Sanger sent dozens of brave and loyal knights to volunteer for the punitive campaign at Rolannar, and only three survived afterward.
Though knowing that granting land to those dozens of fallen was practically the same as granting it directly to Count Sanger, Leon did not break his promise.
