In a quiet corridor behind the Luxoria arena, the masked man followed silently behind Liline.
She led him through a side door and down a narrow hall.
Finally, they stopped in front of a polished metal door.
Liline turned, offering a graceful nod. "He's waiting inside."
The masked man nodded once. "Thank you."
He stepped in.
Inside the room was calm and bright.
At the far end sat Lucius Luxoria, one leg crossed, a teacup in hand.
He gave a small smile.
"Please, sit down."
The masked man approached the seat across from him and gave a respectful nod.
"Thank you, Lord L."
Lucius set down his cup.
"Congratulations on winning the Vornis Beauty Competition, Masked Man."
The masked man gave another short nod. "Thank you. It was an honor."
Lucius chuckled lightly. "Or should I say… Donnie Aldren."
The masked man blinked, clearly caught off guard.
"It seems I cannot hide anything here," he said slowly.
Then, with a sigh, he reached up and pulled off the mask.
