From where I was standing, I could see Pope Grym. He was all smiles as he obtained the Valyrian Steel sword. After that, there was a short pause after the first Relic was auctioned. I congratulated Silvia and Marta on the successful sale, and I took the opportunity to ask if they were interested in any of the remaining Relics, but they said no.
This made me more comfortable in the following bids. If they participated, I would have to give up some items I was interested in because I knew I couldn't compete with them. I took advantage of the pause to ask more about the Valyrian Steel swords. Silvia invited me to see her collection later. She also said that some of her books might have more clues about the name of my sword.
While we were talking, the auction continued, this time bringing two more relics. The shadow movement relic was very good, it was in the form of a cloak, it had an advanced version of the "shadow cloak" spell, not only was the duration much longer, but it gave many additional benefits such as extra speed, greater strength, greater concealment and did not have many of the weaknesses that shadow type spells had during the day.
Unfortunately, even though I went a little overboard in the bids by offering 70 thousand stones for the cloak, we still lost it. It seemed that Master Baron Bones' funds had not run out; he bought the cloak for 76 thousand stones. Since there were two more Relics that I could buy, I decided to give up here. A margin had already been set for the values, as well as the funds of the majority. It was possible to see many giving up when the relic passed 50 thousand, and the remaining majority giving up after 60 thousand.
Now it remained to be seen how everyone would bid on the remaining four. The Resistance Relic provided protection against all levels of curses and had a very powerful individual healing spell that could be used daily. I saw Ezio desperately trying to buy it. I smiled and inflated the bids, making it exceed 60 thousand soul stones again. At that moment, I saw him being forced to give up. Then, I also gave up the bids, and the buyer of the Resistance Relic was the representative of the Society of Shadows.
After another short break, the auction resumed, this time with the offensive ice relic. To my surprise, attack and defense relics were not so highly bid. And with 65 thousand soul stones, our Order finally bought the first relic, when I put my hands on the black glove with ice blue carvings and runes, its details appeared to me:
Glove of the Glacial Emperor
Range of water spells +30%
*Ice Golems have improved intelligence
1x per day allows you to cast the advanced spell Glacial Palm
1x per day allows you to cast the advanced spell Glacial Touch
Glacial Palm and Glacial Touch were terrible ice spells, the Glacial Palm could freeze everything in a straight line 3 meters wide and up to 150 meters away. It was fast, efficient, and lethal against many enemies that were in front of it, especially if the place was narrow.
The Ice Touch was even more deadly, allowing you to freeze anything you touched. It was a death sentence if someone got too close to the wearer of the glove. The interesting side of this glove was that, again, the improvement of the golem's intelligence was something ignored by the seller. It was a bonus, I'm sure Omar would be happy with the power of the glove. The only downside was that it didn't have the effect of my relics of casting spells without reagents.
I took advantage of the break in the auction and started looking at all the spells I had learned so far. Creating advanced spells was the next step to becoming even more powerful. In all this time, I had only learned two earth spells, unfortunately, I was still far from doing that with that element. So my eyes turned to fire spells.
Fireball 2/2
Fire Arrow 3/3[1]
Summon Fire Golem
Wall of Fire
Fire Arrow and Summon Fire Golem were my chosen ones for the last 10 years. Wall of Fire was through a special ritual I gained when I became Vice-Leader of the Adventurers' Alliance. The next spell I learned would determine which advanced spell I could master. If it were Fire Manipulation, I could learn Fire Storm and Giant Fireball. If I learn Fire Thrust, I can only master Flame Flight, which reinforces why I want a Flying-type Relic at this auction... Before I could continue my thoughts on my next spell, the auction resumed...
Now I just needed to win the Wand, which was the defensive wind relic, or the Orb of Light, which could cast many healing spells. And luckily, the Wand was the next item on the auction block.[2]

Meanwhile, in one of the laboratories in the Garden of Beasts. The doors were opened, and a woman in a hooded cloak came out. She stumbled and fell constantly as if she were having trouble walking or even keeping her body balanced. Inside the laboratory, a young man smiled constantly as he confirmed the success of his experiment and the new power that now ran through his body...
