Hong Xi hummed softly and slowly opened her eyes, frowning slightly with a headache, "Why did I fall asleep... disciple?"
Upon opening her eyes, she couldn't help but be startled.
"Where is this..."
Hong Xi sat up and stared blankly around, only then realizing that she was no longer in the inn room. This place was gloomy and dilapidated, dust everywhere, and spider webs covering every corner, clearly inside a ruined temple.
She remembered the last thing she did was succumbing to sleepiness in a room at that what-was-it-called, the Summer Shelter Inn.
How did she wake up here?
Hong Xi turned her head and saw her cheaply acquired disciple, Li Wangsheng, who was now deep asleep beside her on the ground with an innocent expression on his tender face.
It was obvious he had no idea what had happened either.
"What happened..."
A bit bewildered, Hong Xi quickly reached out to lift up her disciple and shook him, "Are you okay? How do you feel?"
