Tarsithra promised Betty that if she agreed to go with them, she'd receive a Mage Tower for free.
Betty agreed after only a brief hesitation; besides the generous offer from Tarsithra, even the so-called Zhen Dan Kingdom couldn't be worse than Crossroads City. Part of the reason was her natural gnome curiosity and impulsiveness, which drove her to adventure and explore new things.
Like Edwin, Betty couldn't immediately leave with them. She needed time to pack her belongings; if she dawdled, it wouldn't be done in less than ten days or half a month.
Anyway, Leon planned to enjoy himself in Crossroads City for a few days, so a delay wouldn't matter.
