"Oh, it's late! I've got to get going," Qin Zhuzhu exclaimed.
"Hey, remember what I said. At least go take a look at him. We should at least cherish the good memories of anyone precious to us, even if it was just a fleeting moment. Good memories, bad memories, or even annoying memories are what make us humans, make i us who we are today," she poked his side with her elbow.
"That's not my words. I got it from Sanya," she laughed. "See you next time," she waved at him and left.
Qin Zhuzhu didn't know whether her words would encourage him and change his mind. Nevertheless she had done her best.
Shentu Chu watched her leave before shutting his eyes. How much time had he left? He didn't know and he didn't want to know.
Shentu Chu wandered the streets at night holding a fruity popsicle in one hand. In the other hand, he held tightly onto a cotton candy. He looked at the two food items. The popsicle was starting to melt.
