"Xion? You have to tell me what you feel so I can understand it."
The words sounded so gentle, so tempting that the certain voice-obsessed healer decided to really speak his mind. He was already halfway through, anyway.
"I didn't like it when someone else told me. But you... You kept it to yourself."
A soft sigh that escaped Darius' lips made Xion's ears tingle.
"I didn't want you to worry about anything. You've only been here a few days. I wanted you to enjoy it, not be troubled by some random woman."
At that, Xion's lips curved into a small smile before he forcefully pulled them down.
"How many people have you loved, Darius?" the words tumbled out of his mouth before he could stop himself.
"You really want to know?"
The silly healer didn't hear the teasing glint in Darius' words. His fingers clenched as he hummed, silently waiting for a reply.
"There has been no one but you, Xion. You were the first person I fell for, and you'll be the last."
