At this point Takemikazuchi really wanted this woman for himself. But there was a gently smiling goddess giving him chills with her dead eyes.
Aphrodite is still worried about her friend but simultaneously glad that she was so determined.
She personally knew many powerful gods that once existed. They either all died due to their arrogance, ignorance, carelessness or simply because they were tired of living.
Living for eons is not good for the mind. She herself experienced many events like the titanomachy, the fall of lucifer and her favourite the invention of idols.
She herself was tired of her endless existence without true love. But she did not see any such fatigue in Ema's glowing eyes.
In those eyes all she saw was determination and an endless drive.
Frankly she loved the sight. On the other hand Takemikazuchi was really trying his best to control himself.
He loved Ema's attitude, and if he could he would make her his.
But he knew, her husband was scary. Someone that could go toe to toe with the literal devil was not weak.
It truly felt like a shame that he missed this golden goose but what could he do? Such was the comings of life.
He shook his head and dispelled his increasing attraction to the woman and waved his hand.
Lightning shot out of his palm, surrounding Ema.
Before Aphrodite could throw the book at him, the lightning dissipated leaving Ema clothed in an ancient Miko yukata.
The designs on it were simple laces threading the yukata together. Other than that it was stark white devoid of any other designs.
"Good, use that determination to overcome the next few hurdles. But remember if you think you cannot handle the training you must will to leave."
The god of thunder's eyes grew serious as he warned. "Ema, no one other than you can make you exit the trial. So if you think your life is at risk will to exit."
Though Takemikazuchi warning was severe the smile on Ema's face never disappeared. In contrast it grew even wider.
