The soft rustle of sheets and the gentle beep of monitors surrounded me as I forced myself to sit upright on the infirmary bed. My ribs still ached, lifting my gown, and glancing at my now pale blue ribs, I noticed the swelling had reduced, so it was healing.
You know we heal faster than any other wolves. Cassidy murmured.
Ignoring her words, questions will arise when my ribs mend themselves within minutes, and I don't know what I'm yet.
The stale scent of antiseptic clung to my skin like a second skin, making me sick, I needed fresh air. And the only way was to convince Damien.
