"I can feel it. Your daughter has a natural affinity for Raiton. She doesn't even use chakra yet, and it's already noticeable."

Silence filled the room.

"Nature energy dances around her," the Raikage added.

--------

"Wait—let me correct myself. It's not just that the natural energy dances around her. When it gets close, it starts to vibrate uncontrollably... almost exactly like what we force chakra to do during nature transformation—make it vibrate…"

The room was wrapped in a heavy silence. His words didn't just land—they hit, like a bolt of lightning.

This wasn't a casual compliment. It was a statement loaded with deep implications, spoken by one of the most powerful shinobi alive.

"Is that true, Raikage-sama?" Denji asked, eyes wide, unable to hide his shock. His voice carried a blend of disbelief and hope. As a veteran ninja, he fully understood what those words meant—and what they could mean for his daughter's future.

Even A, standing with his arms crossed, furrowed his brow. For once, his thoughts spiraled. What unsettled him more? That his father might be willing to teach the feared Lightning Chakra Mode… or that a child so young might possess a natural affinity for Senjutsu—something he himself had never been able to master?

"Yes, Denji," the Raikage finally replied, exhaling a slow puff of smoke that drifted through the tense air. "I can feel it… even with my limited mastery of natural energy. It's subtle, but it's there. Vibrating inside her."

Denji swallowed hard. Pride swelled in his chest—but so did fear. He knew exactly what that path involved.

"So… she has the potential to master a technique only a handful have ever achieved?" he asked quietly, as if he needed to hear it out loud to believe it.

"She does," the Raikage said without hesitation. "She has the potential to wield Black Lightning."

The announcement fell like a suppressed thunderclap. A revelation that shook the very air around them.

A clenched his fists. He knew exactly what Black Lightning meant. He had seen it once—and still remembered the overwhelming intensity of that energy. It was as if nature itself had been compressed into a single, annihilating strike.

The Raikage waited a few seconds, giving them time to absorb the weight of his words, then continued in a more instructional tone:

"As you both know, my mastery of Senjutsu is limited. I can't use it to continuously reinforce my body like the legendary Hashirama Senju did. However… I did manage to channel it into one singular offensive technique. A precise and dangerous fusion between natural energy and my strongest affinity—lightning."

He paused, drawing deeply from his pipe before continuing:

"The process is simple in theory, brutal in execution. I must remain completely still while absorbing natural energy. Then, by fusing it with my lightning chakra, a special transformation occurs: Black Lightning."

Denji nodded slowly, memories flashing back like distant thunder.

"I remember… there was always a moment, barely noticeable, when you would go completely still… and then the black lightning would wrap around you—just before it was unleashed."

"Exactly," the Raikage confirmed. "That stillness is the most vulnerable moment. But it's also the most vital. That's when natural energy and the lightning nature become one. That's when the power is born."

A reverent silence fell.

"My original plan was to train her in both techniques," he added, more thoughtfully now. "But considering what you've told me about her condition… I'll prioritize the development of the Lightning Armor."

Denji's eyes shone with a mix of gratitude and worry.

"Strengthening her body will be essential," the Raikage continued. "It's the only way she'll be able to keep up with the pace of her growth."

And with that, the decision was made. The path was set.

A path full of challenges, yes—but also of unique possibilities.

The girl who unknowingly played with lightning… was about to become a true storm.

Meanwhile, far from the charged and solemn atmosphere of the Raikage's office, Yoruichi walked with her arms out to the sides, humming a made-up song while hopping over the cracks in the cobblestone street. The sun warmed her face, and the buzz of the market blended with her good mood.

Her mission for the day seemed simple enough: buy groceries for the week.

But in her mind, a far more important goal fueled her childish determination: to find a girlfriend for Renji, her older brother, before he turned into a grumpy old fossil.

Behind her, Killer Bee strolled calmly, scribbling rhymes in his notebook while glancing up every so often to make sure the girl didn't vanish between market stalls.

Farther back, Renji trudged along with a defeated expression, wondering at what point his life had turned into babysitting duty instead of proper shinobi work.

"Why did I agree to this?" he muttered, dodging a vendor who nearly jabbed a carrot into his shoulder.

Yoruichi, on the other hand, had already locked onto her target: a clothing store that looked like it came straight out of a shinobi fashion catalog. Without wasting a second, she darted inside like a purple blur, her eyes gleaming with excitement and strategy.

As she browsed dresses and yukatas with the intensity of a kunoichi on a stealth mission, her eyes landed on the woman working behind the counter. Tall, light brown hair, kind eyes. A potential candidate.

Without hesitation, she approached with her most angelic smile.

"Hi, ma'am! My big brother says you're really beautiful," she chirped, giving her best puppy-dog eyes.

The woman let out a soft laugh, but when her eyes landed on Renji—who happened to be walking past the shop window—her expression shifted immediately. Her eyes lit up with curiosity.

"Did he really say that?" she asked, raising an eyebrow with a playful grin.

"He did! He said he wants to ask you out but he's way too shy," Yoruichi added without a hint of shame, pointing directly at her unsuspecting victim.

The woman burst out laughing, then leaned down to Yoruichi's level with a warm look.

"What's your brother's name?"

"Renji. He's almost thirty and has zero girlfriends. That's why I brought him here. I'm worried about his future," Yoruichi said with fake seriousness, as if discussing a national emergency.

"Tell him my name is Mesuinu," the woman replied, winking. "And I'd be happy to say yes."

Yoruichi froze for a split second, struggling not to burst out laughing. Mesuinu? Really? She knew exactly what that name meant in Japanese if you broke it down. The universe definitely had a weird sense of humor.

Without wasting another moment, she bolted from the store without buying a thing, leaving a pile of clothes scattered in her wake.

"Brother! Brother!" she yelled as she ran, arms flailing—"Her name's Mesuinu and she said yes to going out with you!"

Renji froze mid-step, rubbed his eyes like that might undo reality, then let out a deep sigh of resignation.

"This can't be happening," he muttered—yet his stride grew steadier as he returned to the shop, straightening his clothes and fixing his hair.

As he stepped into the store, Renji gave a slight bow and offered a nervous smile.

"Sorry about my sister's behavior. She… doesn't always know when to stop."

"Don't worry," Mesuinu replied with a warm smile. "She's a charming little girl."

Yoruichi watched everything intently, mentally taking notes like a theater critic judging a performance.

Knew it. Even if he's a lonely old bachelor, he still has decent flirting skills. As expected from a shinobi…

The conversation between Renji and Mesuinu started off shy and a little awkward, but gradually began to flow—like a river finding its path. Soft laughs, knowing glances, and a few accidental jokes from Renji that made the shopkeeper burst out laughing.

Meanwhile, Killer Bee stood at the entrance, shaking his head as he scribbled in his rhyme notebook:

"My flow drowns in this love-struck scene,

Who knew romance could hit so clean?"

Bored of the growing flirt-fest, Yoruichi wandered over and peeked over his shoulder. On the page was a rough sketch: a human figure with multiple swords sticking out from random places.

"What's that?" she asked, tilting her head with genuine curiosity.

"A new kenjutsu style, deadly and unique… like a spiritual octopus with blades," murmured Killer Bee, then froze, as if he'd revealed too much.

Yoruichi pretended to lose interest, but her mind was already racing.

"That's wrong. Wait, rhyme-sensei, let me show you how it's done," she said, pulling out her sketchbook like it was a sacred tool.

With quick, precise strokes, she drew a muscular figure with dark sunglasses—clearly a caricature of adult Killer Bee—and placed the swords with surgical precision: one in the mouth, one at each elbow, one under the armpit, one by the neck, one across the lower back, and one on the leg.

"There! This is how you should look when you master your style. It's the art of the ultimate swordsman!"

Killer Bee stared at the drawing, and his expression shifted from surprise to total excitement.

"This is amazing! I'll try it out without delay, Octo-Swordsman style—no stutter, no sway!"

He lifted her up and spun her around like a proud dad.

"You're gonna make me dizzy!" Yoruichi protested through laughter, giving a thumbs-up with pride.

Back in the store, Renji and Mesuinu were wrapping up their conversation.

"So… would you be up for a date this weekend?" she asked, a faint blush coloring her cheeks.

"Sure… I'd really like that," Renji replied with a genuine smile, far more relaxed than when he'd walked in.

From the doorway, Yoruichi watched with arms crossed and a triumphant smile.

Her plan had worked.

....

....

One week later…

In a dark room with dry walls and heavy air, a thick tension filled the space—the kind that screamed "something immoral happens here" or "this is definitely a BDSM dungeon."

In the dim light, the silhouettes of a man and a woman could be seen.

The silence broke all at once—with both of them yelling.

Note:As you know, the Black Rays that we know of have only been used by Sasuke and Darui. Although it is said that the Third Raikage also possessed them, and taught them to Darui.

Sasuke used them while under the effect of the Cursed Seal, which grants him Senjutsu chakra. By combining this type of energy with Chidori, he transforms into Black Lightning.

Another version is the Chidori empowered with the chakra of the Sage of the Six Paths, powerful enough to cut Madara in half without difficulty.

On the other hand, Darui used this technique to defeat the Gold and Silver Brothers.

This is more of a theory, but it seems that Black Lightning is only possible through the use of natural energy (Senjutsu), at least in the cases that have been shown so far. Under this premise, in this fanfic, the Black Lightning will work according to that same principle.
