After thirty minutes of uninterrupted 'training', the lord-husband and servant-wife finally separated, the area where the bulk of the session had taken place was beyond drenched with sweat, and was also soiled by the proof that Linmin had thoroughly enjoyed the experience, they both got dressed again.
Linmin was the first to come out of the room, by then, Jingyi had returned to her previous position, but although the maid had watched pretty much the entire thing, she was still shocked by how exhausted the second wife looked, his hair was a mess beyond description, his steps were unsteady and it looked like he had had his nutrients drained away.
"Are you alright, Lord Linmin?"
"Me? I am better than ever" he said whilst supporting himself against the wall, out of breath, body and clothes drenched, as well as not even looking at Jingyi, but off to the side instead, had she not known the reason, Jingyi would have assumed that Linmin was beyond drunk and had fallen in some well.
"Lord Edrick, I'll be going ahead to the bath" he said as Anoteros stepped out of the room as well, leaning forward to give a small kiss on the foppoof's lips.
"No need, I'll carry you there" easily lifting his wife like Linmin was a feather, he turned to Jingyi.
"We made a bit of a mess, best to be quick before it seeps into the floor"
"Oh… And Jingyi, you didn't get to eat yet, right? Do that once you're done, once I have recovered a bit, I'll show you how to properly make sure everything is locked properly around the residence" added Linmin, before he and Edrick went away toward the main bathroom, leaving the maid alone.
Jingyi heaved a sigh of relief, having been afraid that her peeping had been spotted, but it seems like they were none the wiser.
'Urgh… What got into me there? I couldn't take my eyes off it at all… And why do I keep thinking like this when he is around? This guy has infested my mind, I can only think about what he could do to me…' Jingyi shuddered, she knew that what she sometimes thought meant nothing, it simply couldn't be the case, it was like what Yi had mentioned in the past when speaking about some cases and bringing up terms related to his job as a prosecutor.
She was merely thinking and reacting this way as a form of protection, absolutely, there was no way in hell that she would just start to be excited and wish for such things coming from the man who had used and abused her without even a single shred of mercy, Anoteros had defiled her body in the worst ways imaginable, so there was simply no way for her to be jealous of Linmin.
If anything, Jingyi was merely hoping and praying that if Edrick decided to act again, that he would just be gentle like this.
'It's not that I want it… It's not that I want it… I should just focus on cleaning this mess…' trying to convince herself that it was all a trick spun by her mind as defence, Jingyi found her heartbeat beating faster like something had just terrified her, so far, she had actually managed to completely block out of her mind the fact that she had been tempted to pleasure herself whilst watching, or the fact that her panties were currently wet.
She just focused on the task at hand, using the tools available to restore this training to what it had been before, the smell of Edrick's sweat was awfully strong, there really was no better way to describe it than the word 'masculine', or perhaps even 'male' as it was that sort of intoxicating scent she imagined when thinking of how a wild, male animal in rut would smell like.
Jingyi found it far from repulsive, but that was something more that she was unwilling to acknowledge, hurrying to ventilate the room and clean it completely before leaving, this was all stressing her out beyond comprehension, actually eating something should help calm her nerves…
The maid headed for one of the dining room that had been made with the residence's personal in mind, it was much less grand than the one intended for the patriarch and his wives, but still very much classy and large, there were even kitchens for the personnel, so that they could not possibly obstruct the main one or get it dirty, there, Linmin had left a plate of food for her.
It was honestly flabbergasting how someone as nice as Linmin could be married to someone like Edrick, Jingyi could not imagine that man being considerate, yet, the maid had just seen it, hadn't she? The way he kissed his second wife and carried him because he couldn't walk properly by himself…
It had all been so natural, and Linmin had acted like it was the norm, in the instant that it had all happened, even Jingyi had not questioned the interaction.
Shaking her head, the new hire heated the food and began eating, the meat melting inside of her mouth.
It tasted like pork and felt simply divine, clearly, the second wife was just on another level of proficiency in that domain, even after being reheated, the dish was still incredibly scrumptious.
'Not sure what sort of meat this is, but it's delicious… I should ask Lord Linmin about it' for a short while, the girl's mind was free of the tormenting interrogations, she ate in peace, and eventually, Linmin showed up again, looking much better than before, although his steps were still a bit awkward.
'I am surprised he can even stand after that…'
He showed Jingyi how to make sure every window, flaps and doors were properly shut and locked, and even the curtains, at night, the residence turned into a veritable fortress, completely shut, even the doors leading to the outside had flaps and curtains, Linmin even mentioned that they were planning on upgrading the security of everything in the future as well.
Claiming that a noble's home was a treasure trove in the eyes of thieves and burglars- That not a single of those ruffians was allowed to set foot in here, and that if one did, that they would have to be either killed on the spot, or captured to receive punishment, that last part had been said in a manner that implied that said punishment would not be carried by justice, but directly under the house's rules.
This might sound brutal, but punishing criminals was the natural thing to do, so even Jingyi didn't blink twice at that.
And then, the maid had to go to her room, apparently, there was no night patrol for her to perform, such tasks would be done by future hires that would only be working at nighttime, truly, Anoteros must have deep pockets if he intended on paying that many servants in the future.
'Ah… I'll need to ask about my income…' she would have to speak directly to Edrick for that however.
And as though the world was listening, the door to her room slid open, and the residence's owner stepped in, his poised and powerful figure illuminated only by the shine of the one candle upon her nightstand.
"M-Master… Can I help you?"
The door was slid shut.
