He admonished Arthur sincerely, "I am not a fool, Arthur. I remembered to put a failsafe in the control system."
Then he laughed so hard at the ignorant Arthur that he shed a tear. However, Arthur was not amused. His concerns hadn't been fully addressed so he was still on high alert.
After laughing, Thor wiped a tear from the corner of his eyes and continued, "As for it exploding, that will not happen if I lose control of it. It will only happen if the core engine malfunctions. But I will be able to tell before it happens, so I will be safe from any explosions."
Arthur's face fell when he heard that. He said, "So it can explode."
Thor rolled his eyes and said, "If you must be crass, yes, it can explode."
Arthur felt as if Thor wasn't taking this danger seriously. He had to ask Thor, "Do you know what will happen if it explodes? Do you know what kind of destruction it will create?"
