After Drakion had taken what he needed, they both dashed from the old man's shop, fearing he might go back on his word. Wasting no time, they hurried back to the inn.
Upon entering their designated room, they realized Mia had not yet returned. Drakion shook his head at this, knowing she was still out, likely lost in her shopping spree.
"That was a nice job, Kaidros," Drakion said as he turned to him. It had been a flawless act they had pulled off.
"Thanks, Master," Kaidros nodded, feeling a wave of relief that the Dragon Emperor was satisfied.
Drakion drew out the blood crystal, holding it in his palm as he examined its eerie glow—but this, he knew, would have to wait until they returned to the Dragon Palace.
He instructed Kaidros to bring the horn. As Kaidros presented it, Drakion examined the dragon horn, while Elemarion stared at it with an intense gaze.
