Mari sat on her bed with her lips pursed as she replayed her conversation with Jax earlier, wondering what she said to piss him off.
He had walked away in the middle of the movie they were seeing and he had seemed quite upset. Although they had done more talking than seeing a movie, still she was perplexed because she couldn't remember saying anything out of the ordinary.
She had picked out an action movie for them to watch as he asked her to.
Before the movie started, she had turned off the lights and drawn the blinds so that the living room would be dark and cozy enough, and then she had gone back to the couch and snuggled next to him.
"What are you doing?" He had asked, cutting her a sideways glance when she leaned against him resting her head on his shoulder.
"Finding a comfortable position for the movie," she said with a grin.
Jax used his forefinger to push her head away before moving away from her to the other end of the couch, "You're something else, you know that?"
