"Why couldn't you just tell this to me the other day, Zander?" I asked him.
"I know it was a stupid move. But I thought you might get hurt if I told you this. Also, Heather promised to never come into my life again." Zander said when I shook my head. I looked away from him as the tears kept flowing down my cheeks.
"I want to be alone, Zander."
"What do you mean?" he asked me sounding puzzled.
"I want some time alone to process everything."
"Aurora, I will tell you this again. I didn't know what happened with Heather that night, and…"
"Only a relationship that is built on trust and love would last long, Zander. I don't know if I would have been this upset if you could have just told me about this the other day. But right now, I feel like you are still lying to me."
