Knox Light, an American born dental hygienist student, was stuck staring at the woman in front of him, she was more than gorgeous, she was a once in a lifetime love.
Knox couldn't believe that after two years of dating her, two years of always putting himself second to his girlfriend.

Lily pushed knoxes hand away an looked into his eyes as she spoke with a never before seen clarity.
"I'm sorry Knox, but I just cant see a future with you".
Lily continued, she was spilling her heart to Knox.
"Since the day we were 9 years old, ive noticed that you have always chased after me, and never once have i seen you choose to instead chase your dreams".
She paused and looked down obviously uncomfortable to continue.
Lily "knox what i mean is… i dont see a future with a man so simple sighed".
Lily sighed " knox you need to improve yourself, you cant always be fine with being okay with being okay"…
Lily saw that knox was tearing up at her words, but she was determined to have a better life, and that it would be good for them both.
Lily continued, "im sorry kniw but we're done, please leave me alone, and please dont let this affect you, i will always love you as family, but i know that, thats the extent of all it will ever be"…
Lily began tearing up as she quickly began running away from knox, she pushed past pedestrians quickly leaving park, Knox attempted to run after her, he followed her yelling with tears in his eyes.
"Lily please!, come back please give it one more chance".
Lily in a fleeting moment turned to knox and replied with tears running down her pretty
auburn face.
"No Knox, it's over I have given you chance after chance, time after time but this time it's completely different, you cheated on me with my sister you dirty bastard".
She didn't want to take it that far, but she felt defeated, she just wanted him to leave her alone….
She continued with tears building up in her small cocoa colores eyes.
"Im sick of it Knox! honestly I never even loved you".
Knox's heart broke hearing this, and he couldn't even respond as Lily continued.
She began speaking more solemnly, as if she had made up her mind, and had truly given up on trying to make it work.
"Im sick of feeling guilty, and I am no longer willing lie to you Knox… we are done i cant do this anymore".
She began running faster, knox only sat and watched this time, he couldn't even move, and soon Lily was gone.
Soon Knox noticed that someone was calling him on his phone, he looked down at his busted Tphone 15, it was his dad.
Knox's father was a respected member of the community, he had already been a firefighter for 10 years before Knox was born.
And he was well known in the community for his kind nature, he was seen every year giving out food to the needy in the winter.
He had since a child wanted to help others, and as so had even started many foundations, hoping to help as many people as he could.
Even though David's father and Knox's grandfather wasn't around, his mother tried her best to instill discipline into her son.
David light took these teachings to heart and soon was known as the beacon of the community.
As a boy he was a perfect child, always helping older ladies with heavy grocery bags and making sure to hold doors open for older gentleman, he could be said to be the shining light, in a community filled with darkness.
His son obviously didn't follow his fathers lead, as Knox by the age of 15 was known for his vulgar language, he would constantly get into trouble for getting in to fights.
And more than once he was caught cussing at teachers, leading to the discipline lacking Knox, getting sent to the nearby alternative school for at risk students.
Knox looked down at his phone and choose to accept the phone call, he hoped that his father could alleviate his heartbreak.
As soon as Knox answered the called, ge could hear loud yelling through the phone, Knox was shocked.
He had angered his dad before, but it sounded like this time he had really dropped the bag.
He put the phone to his ear and immediately, his mind went blank at what he heard…
David light yelled through the phone.
"Dont you ever come back you filthy little scumbag, I never raised you to be this evil".
Knox tried to say something,
"Dad please wai".
He was cut off as David continued to yell.
"No i dont want to hear any more of your excuses, how could you Knox, how could you".
Knox now knew what this was about, David had always loved Lily and her sister hazel as if they were his own daughters, and for knox to do what he had….
It would cause and irreparable rift in the family, David couldn't understand why his idiotic son who had loved that girl since he was a small child, why would he cheat on her!
Knox felt miserable but still he tried to answer his father, but Knix found that his mouth felt forced closed, as if a professional seemstress had sewn his mouth tight.
He wanted to make another excuse about how Hazel had came on to him first, however he knew that by now it would only make it worse, and so he chose to stay silent.
David continued his tirade.
"Knox your an adult now, and as such i dont ever want to see you again, I thought that you would grow out of it, but by now I can see that your the devil child".
Knox felt a lump in his chest, he couldn't believe his father's words, each sentence felt like thunder bolts in Knox's ears.
David's voice was wearing thin as if his voice was giving out.
"I dont ever want to see you again, dont ever try contacting us, your mother doesn't want to see you either, and your little brother"…
Knox's heart felt shattered at the revelation, and he visibly was showing signs of deep sadness, however that didn't stop his father from continuing.
Davids head was down as he couldn't wven look at his son.
"Your brother wont even leave his room after he heard from his friends at school, of what you did and he told me that he feels ashamed to had been born your brother".
As david finished his sentence the phone went dead, as soon as his father had hung up, Knox tried to call back only to realize his father instantly blocked him, leaving him no space to plead.
Knox was desperate at this point and soon tried to call his mom…
Only to realize that she had blocked his number aswell, only now was Knox starting to realize… in this cold, cruel world he was truly alone, no one would love such a man…
Knox pulled himself together as he looked through his phone he saw a message, it was from his mother…
Only now after losing everything did he finally find the time to check his mother messages, the woman who had never let him down, the one who had raised him, loved him unconditionally, only now did he finally take the time to check what she said to him.
Knox knew that his mother resented, but more importantly felt pained that he couldn't find time to look at her messages, but he always thought that no matter what she would love him… because thats just what she had always done before.
Knox began slowly opened her messages, he knew that if she would send so many it had to be deeply important.
He started to read the many text that she had sent and that he had missed… the ones that she had tried to inform him about earlier in the day.
