"You'll need me, brother; give me another chance. I promise I won't let anyone deceive her," Andrew's voice was genuine. Michael stared at him. Can he trust him? Is he making another mistake?
His memories went back to the times when they were kids. Michael's family, along with his uncle and aunt, were enjoying a picnic near the forest land of Rozenvile. After tons of pleading and weeping, Michael managed to persuade his parents to give him permission to pick some special berries from the forest.
"I don't want you to cross the 10-yard mark. And you, being the elder one, take care of little Andrew," his father had remarked.
"Yes, Dad!" And with that, he slipped his hand into Andrew's and went inside the forest. It was broad daylight, and there was no way he was going to cross the threshold marked as safe by the forest authorities, so there shouldn't be any danger, right?
