"I can't get down on one of my knees now… Will you marry me, my love?" Jenny could hear her heart hammering in her chest when she heard those golden words coming from the person she loves more than her life.
She wasn't dreaming, right? No, because she could still feel the tears forming in her eyes. Wasting not even a second more, she went ahead and took James in a tight hug. Her shoulders trembled while she mumbled words that melted James's heart.
"Ye-Yes, James, of course I'm going to marry you… Oh God, I'm so happy, waa…" And she continued to take deep sobs. James's hand circled around her back, soothing her, comforting her in a way to let her know that she was okay, and yes, it was real.
"I-I can't ask for more," she expressed in between her whimpers while James dropped kisses over her forehead. He was hurting with the way she was holding him, but never complained, because when it came to her, he could take all the pain with a smile on his face.
