Chapter 47: Maheshwara (2)

Devdan smiled as he saw Umeesh coming towards him. He was on his basilisk waiting for the moment to attack and devastate the city and its inhabitants. The destruction would result in shame for Anand and perhaps the loss of his position as Minister. He, Devdan, wanted to see that; he longed to see the desperation in his former enemy, he wanted to see how those men, women and children without magic died and were punished by his hand.

However, when he saw Umeesh's eyes, he gritted his teeth and his red eyes seemed to burn with the anger that flooded his mind. Moving one of his arms, he threw an axe towards Umeesh, seeing that he didn't even dodge and let it stick in his head, splitting his forehead as blood exploded and he fell to the ground lifeless.

"Charge! Charge!" Devdan shouted furiously. "I want everyone dead! Don't leave a single living being alive and destroy every building!!"

"Vritra!" Devdan exclaimed, gently tapping the head of the huge Basilisk.

. . .

Harry frowned as he felt the Rakshasa moving at high speed towards them. Some of them disappeared and reappeared somewhere else. He clicked his tongue as he realized that the plan hadn't worked. And, now that he thought about it, he was too naive to think that they wouldn't discover Umeesh in Imperius.

"He's coming right now!" Harry shouted loudly, drawing everyone's attention. Anand was shocked and started shouting as the citizens were evacuated with the help of the Indian military forces on the muggle side. Every magical ministry would have to contact the prime minister or a similar person in different countries in cases like this. Of course, they wouldn't say that dark wizards were attacking, they had to camouflage such things.

However, it was too late.

BOOOOM!!

An explosion sent several wizards flying as a building was torn to pieces by several spells from ten Rakshasa Dark Wizards.

Spells flew and decimated parts of businesses and houses, Aurors ran around while casting spells and starting the fight with the newly dubbed Rakshasa group. In the distance, Devdan's red eyes watched all this over his Basilisk, Vritra.

Harry closed his eyes and his entire world began to change. Everything seemed to turn a white, purple and black color. This was Elemental Sight. Harry's 'eyes' were not some kind of clairvoyance or a clairvoyant ability to automatically sort out what he wants to know in the unconscious realm and project it all into his consciousness. It is an intelligence that cannot reach the information it needs unless he chooses it. Therefore, he could not focus on several things at the same time; if he wanted to see 'something' he had to specifically choose some kind of target and if he wanted another, he had to leave the first one to move on to the second target. That is, Harry could search for the Rakshasa's location, but he had to focus on that alone, he couldn't track anything else unless he finished the first task himself.

"One hundred metres to the right, inside the carpet building!" Harry bellowed loudly, drawing the attention of the nearby aurors. They fired their reducto spells at the wall, disintegrating it and then blowing up the Rakshasa inside.

"The same ones, three o'clock!" Harry shouted, but it was too late; he jumped up and saw two Rakshasa cast cutting charms, cutting off the limbs of the small group of aurors and slicing open their torsos.

Taking out Taurus Horn, he fired reductos and disintegrated the Rakshasa before approaching the nearly dead aurors.

"Berserker," Harry muttered and was surrounded by a red aura. This was the skill he bought for five thousand chat points: it increases Harry's strength, stamina, and speed by 15% as well as allowing him to not feel any pain. Of course, he could have bought something that allowed him to skip pain for less, but this was ideal due to the boost it granted him.

He decided to buy this for its ability: Divine Left Hand, also known as Regrowth. Harry can rewind up to 24 hours in the past, copying past information contained in the information dimension and rewriting injuries from before any harm or damage from outside sources was incurred. Then, using a spell, he can rewrite the current information. The rewritten target will adhere to the updated information and restore themselves before suffering any damage.

However, Harry would feel all the damage condensing in less than a second, which is why he bought its Berserker ability.

Then, using Taurus Horn, Harry used Regrowth (Divine Left Hand), returning the Aurors as if nothing had happened.

"H-Huh?"

"What... just happened?"

"My injuries... all... They're all gone!"

The Aurors exclaimed in surprise at what had just happened.

"Come on... we have to defeat these Dark Wizards," Harry called out as he walked forward. His coat billowed slightly behind him, giving him a slightly mysterious and powerful appearance.

The Aurors saw him walking around, casting redoubts to disintegrate some Rakshasa and healing other Aurors, no matter how small their wound. It was better to heal them than leave them at a disadvantage to the enemy.

At one point, Harry fired a Bombarda Maxima at a restaurant, blowing up the wall before firing three redoubts in succession. When the dust and rock cleared, only tiny wisps of what had once been three people remained.

"Vritra!!" Devdan roared loudly as he watched Harry Potter decimate his subjects and heal the Aurors of any injuries. The Basilisk charged hard, freezing anyone within its sight, but Harry fired before they died from petrification; this, of course, required great reaction speed from Harry, but it wasn't a problem with his Elemental Sight and Observation Haki.

"GRAAAHH!! Damn kid!!" Devdan roared angrily, raising both magical spells in both of his hands. At that instant, a chill engulfed the street and cursed ice formed on the ground as it raised ice spikes from the ground, impaling several Aurors.

Harry frowned at this; despite being able to rewrite wounds, he couldn't revive someone. So, to get rid of this ice, he manifested a powerful wind that sliced through the ice spikes and moved his wand in a complex motion, conjuring a massive fire phoenix. It charged forward, leaving flames all over the street, preventing other Aurors from passing through and melting the ice.

This fire, all lesser than normal, was a powerful charm that manifested flames; these were called the Gubraithian flame, also known as the eternal flame. The spell was so powerful that it could last even after the caster died. Now, no matter how much cursed ice Devdan cast, it would all melt, leaving Harry standing before the Dark Wizard, his Basilisk in front of him.

"Why?! Why are you standing in the way of my goals, Harry Potter?! This isn't your country, you have no business being here?!"

"I'm no hero..." Harry replied seriously. "But if I can help save some lives, I won't refuse so easily. This is your fault. If you had stayed hidden, no one would have asked for my help."

"I'll kill you! I'll tear your body apart!" Devdan growled maniacally, his red eyes glowing. "I'll drink your blood and eat your flesh, you damned bastard!"

Harry sighed as he closed his eyes for a moment. There was no point in continuing to talk. He opened his eyes, and an invisible barrier formed around Devdan. The Dark Wizard Rakshasa opened his eyes wide as he sensed something strange about him. His magic felt different. No, in fact, he felt like he couldn't use it.

"What did you—" Devdan was interrupted when Harry appeared directly in front of him, slamming into his face with all his might. Haki exploded from his arm and circled the limb before impacting the dark wizard's pale face, and when it collided, his head exploded into a bloody mist. Then, with a nimble movement, he twisted his body, dodging the Basilisk's tail.

Before, he had almost been killed by a basilisk, but now it wasn't even a problem. Armament Haki circled Harry's leg before descending and striking the magical beast's head. The Haki didn't damage the outside, but moved into the beast, causing its enormous head to explode from the inside out. But even if he hadn't used this application of Haki, it would still have killed the Basilisk due to the enormous force contained in Harry's blows.

Anand, who was atop a building, was able to watch the entire battle; From Harry recovering the largest number of Aurors, to how he eliminated the Rakshasa and, finally, eliminated Devdan. The Hindu Minister of Magic's eyes were wide open, not because of Harry's brutality or his ease with killing; this was a life-or-death battle, and neither he nor anyone else could demand that he not kill the enemy. But, to him, Harry almost seemed like a deity on the battlefield, destroying his enemies and reviving his allies.

When he saw Harry finish off Devdan, he caught a movement with his wand, causing the Eternal Flames to rise into the sky before disappearing completely. Almost as the flames died down, he began to rise with a gentle wind that appeared beneath his feet. And from there, looking down on everyone, Harry began to eliminate all the remaining Rakshasa; there was not a shred of mercy in his eyes or his movements.

The Rakshasa could only wait for death.

The Aurors, on the other hand, were healed and stood up in surprise to see that they no longer had any wounds.

Anand used Apparition to climb down from the building and began to help the aurors up. But, when he tried to lift one up, he ignored it, staring at Harry's back almost adoringly; his eyes were a little misty as he trembled slightly and his lips parted to let out a single word.

"Maheshvara..."

The word froze Anand slightly before he looked at Harry still flying through the sky as he destroyed and healed.

"If it wasn't for him, then I don't know how many deaths there would be," Anand sighed a little as he stood up straight and watched Harry slowly descend to the ground, his work done.
