Chapter 127 - Chapter 127: You Are Weak

"Okay, it's decided. I'll go over there and cut that guy down," Shion said with all the naturalness in the world.

The Odachi in her hand was extended sideways as a dragon scale armor surrounded her. Even her wings were shielded with scales, giving her a draconic touch.

What she used just now is one of her unique abilities, [Dragon Oni].

As the name suggests, in this form, she gains draconic traits while retaining her Oni features, like the horn in the middle of her forehead.

"Huh?" Kokabiel showed surprise upon seeing Shion's transformation. He asked, curious: "Are you a dragon descendant?"

"Ehehe. Not at all." She didn't mind answering: "This is merely one of my abilities."

"An ability?" Her answer left him more surprised than ever, even a bit envious.

With the Odachi pointed at Kokabiel, Shion firmly declared: "I am Shion, the Tower of Zaydas-sama! Fallen Angel, Kokabiel, you have committed an unforgivable mistake, that is... Daring to make my Lord the target of your conspiracy! For that, there is only one fate for you: Death!"

"Girl, don't underestimate me too much!" Shouting, Kokabiel raised both hands to the sky, and soon a yellow spear of light began to expand.

His expression twisted slightly as he seemed to have gone a bit mad.

"Rias, Zaydas." At the same time, Sona and the rest of her Peerage had just arrived.

"What..." She stopped mid-question when she saw Kokabiel's actions: "Fallen Angel, Kokabiel?"

Even though it was the first time she saw him in person, she was familiar with the description of the main leaders of the Fallen Angels. That made it easy for her to recognize him.

"Hmph! What a cheap trick." Shion scoffed at the attack formed by Kokabiel, saying: "You know, I'm an excellent cook and an attack like this is nothing to me~!"

Hearing what she said, those unfamiliar with her [Cooking] ability had a question mark in their minds while their expressions seemed to say: What does that have to do with being a good cook?

"Die!" Shouting, ignoring what she said, Kokabiel launched the yellow spear of light toward Shion.

"Zay-kun, are you going to act?" Rias showed concern for Shion.

"Me, act? Why?" Zaydas responded, purposefully sounding confused, adding: "Just wait and see. It's all fine."

Closing her lips in a thin smile, Shion brought her Odachi back, then charged forward to meet Kokabiel's attack.

"CRACK!!"

The expected thunderous sound never came, what really happened was... The moment Shion's blade touched the yellow spear of light, the spear simply shattered with the sound of breaking glass.

Soon, thousands of pieces of the light spear began to disappear into the air.

"See? I told you I was a good cook~!" Shion puffed out her large breasts, making them bounce as she spoke with arrogance.

"You damn bitch..." Feeling offended, Kokabiel extended his hand and a magic circle appeared on the ground.

Soon, from the magic circle, two three-headed dogs surrounded by flames appeared. They were as big as a building.

"Cerberus!" Rias recognized them.

Akeno cleared the doubt of those who didn't recognize it: "It's the guardian of the underworld's gate."

"Shadow, Ruby." Zaydas said quietly, and from his shadow, the two 'jumped' out.

Using gigantification, the two grew to twice the size of the Cerberus, and then with paws surrounded by dark purple infernal flames, they crushed them to the ground, smashing them to death.

From beginning to end, it lasted a fraction of a second.

Everything happened so fast that Kokabiel didn't even have time to react when Shion appeared in front of him.

Using her wings that should have been harder than steel, Shion's sword cut through like butter, slicing his neck, making blood spurt like a fountain.

Putting his hand on his throat while most of his wings had been cut off, the disbelief in Kokabiel's eyes was visible to everyone.

"Shion-san was always this strong?" Sona was having a hard time believing it.

It wasn't just her; even Rias thought that even if Shion could fight Kokabiel, at most, it would be an even match—but then, what was she seeing now?

"Shadow, go and get the little rat hiding behind the trees." Zaydas commanded as soon as the Cerberus were dealt with.

Ruby, on the other hand, returned to his shadow.

Then, Zaydas said slowly: "Not necessarily. Until a few days ago, she would've had some trouble if she fought Kokabiel. But now... hehe. If Shion acted more seriously, Kokabiel would already be dead."

"Wait, she's still not fighting seriously?" Akeno asked, shocked.

"She's giving at most 50% of herself," Zaydas replied, without explaining much.

"You damn bitch, you damn bitch, you damn bitch!!!" Screaming full of rage, Kokabiel, who had retreated, didn't want to play anymore and began to fully expand his aura.

The moment he did that, Sona, Rias, and others began to have difficulty breathing.

However, Zaydas expanded his aura a bit, surrounding them.

Feeling the sudden relief from Kokabiel's pressure, Sona and the rest sighed in relief and quickly gave thanks. Among them were Xenovia and Irina.

After going through a near-death situation at the hands of Kokabiel, they had become a bit more docile. However, how long that would last was uncertain...

Meanwhile, Kokabiel created two yellow light swords and charged toward Shion with his broken wings.

Shion showed indifference as she counterattacked with her Odachi.

"Bang!"

A loud sound echoed as Shion's Odachi clashed with Kokabiel's light sword.

"Crack!"

Kokabiel's light sword couldn't withstand the damage, shattering into fragments of light, but a new blade of light was created, defending him as he retreated, flapping his broken wings that began to regenerate.

Retreating a bit, Shion furrowed her brow while becoming thoughtful. She pressed her lips together, then said with a strange tone: "This is weird... Aren't you supposed to be one of the leaders of the Fallen Angels?"

"That's right." Kokabiel puffed out his chest as he admitted it.

"Really? Then..." She tilted her head slightly, saying, confused: "Why are you so weak?"

"..."

Kokabiel's face turned chili red.

The worst part was those who couldn't hold back—or didn't even try—and began laughing at such a comment.

"Shion." Zaydas suddenly called her attention.

"Yes?" She looked in his direction.

"Look how humiliated he feels... You can't tease him like that~" Even though he said that, his laughing tone didn't convey any sincerity or seriousness. He added: "And, it's not that he's weak, but rather, you are strong. Although I must admit he's pretty so-so."

"So-so? So-so?!"

At first, Kokabiel even sympathized when Zaydas seemed to speak in his defense, but what he said afterward... Made an uncontrollable rage boil in his chest. He placed his hand on his chest, squeezing it to the point of crumpling his shirt, while his face distorted in a way that made him look very ugly and terrifying.

If before his aura was powerful, now it became so strong that if Zaydas weren't protecting Rias and the others, they might have been harmed.

However, even in the face of such aura, Shion maintained her stance, without the slightest hint of fear or concern.

"Shion, fall back." Zaydas said, placing a barrier around the others, then he teleported to Shion's side.

"Okay~" Even without understanding, she still listened to him.

She was already satisfied. Even if she didn't get to give it her all, she at least managed to measure her strength.

Compared to when she faced the Orcs before, now she was confident she could take out the entire Orc army alone if given the chance!

Looking at Kokabiel, who stared at him with red eyes full of hatred, practically bleeding from them... A small smile curled on Zaydas' lips, then he appeared in front of Kokabiel.

"Whoosh! Whoosh!"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

At extreme speed, he touched Kokabiel's two arms, and soon 'Fenrir' devoured both arms as it emerged from Zaydas' hands.

Kokabiel's cry of lament came for several reasons, but mainly because he had lost something very important to him.

The black feathered wings on his back simply vanished, while all the oppressive aura he had emitted before disappeared like magic.

Not only that, he could no longer stay in the air and began to fall.

The whistle of his fall came like a bag being blown by the wind.

"Boom!"

When his body hit the ground, some bones were broken.

At this moment, Zaydas looked in a certain direction and still smiling, he waved his hand and, through the gap formed in the barrier he created, something white flew in at great speed toward Kokabiel.
