"Have you been feeling uncomfortable since we stepped foot inside the shop?"
The question was direct because Coco doesn't want to invalidate Jonathan's discomfort and accidentally send him running away.
Jonathan is her friend after all.
Jonathan shot a glance in Coco's way, his lips forming a straight line as he nodded his head slowly.
"Slight.. I just got nervous because they are your friends.. But it's okay, I don't mind at all." Jonathan said, his voice calm and quiet as he smiled at her to assure her.
Coco's face twisted as she frowned. "I'm so sorry, Jonathan. I should have known that it would make you uncomfortable. It's my fault. I forced the meet up on you— and don't even say that it was not, because I know that it was."
Coco was so excited to introduce Jonathan to Renaldo and Jacques because she thought that they could bond together.
Coco let out a sigh, regretting her decision.
