Keelion gazed down at her.
He drew a long breath, brushing her hair aside. Alexis couldn't take her eyes off him, watching as he fought himself whether or not to do it.
"Keelion—"
"Just don't say anything. Please…" he was begging at this point.
She wouldn't hurt him again. Why couldn't she believe him? But was she really asking herself that question?
"I love you."
"Alexis—"
"I love you. Keelion, I love you."
"Alexis, stop—"
"I love you, Keelion, I love you more than you could ever imagine. And you have to believe me. I love you so much it hurts and I can't ever stop. Not even if you push me away, not even if you keep saying no to me, not even if you—"
"ENOUGH!" he yelled into her face, eyes coated with wetness. "Enough of it, Alexis. Please, stop it."
"Then make me stop. Give me a chance to fix you. Please…"
