After I got dressed, I left the bedroom and walked into Christian's office.
He was sitting behind his desk, talking to someone on the phone. Noticing me, he stood up from his chair and started to walk towards me.
"Hey, I'll talk to you later," he said before ending the call.
He walked up to me and placed his hands around my waist. "Hey, how are you feeling? Here, drink some water."
I accepted the water bottle and uncapped it. "Thank you. I'm feeling much better. Sorry about earlier..."
Christian waited until I finished taking a few sips of water before he pulled me into his embrace. "Sweetheart, don't apologize for something like that. You don't ever have to apologize to me."
I hugged him back, feeling warm. A few minutes later, he pulled back and looked into my eyes intently.
"Leslie, do you trust me?"
I looked back at him and nodded, "Yes."
"Good. I'll take care of it, I promise," he said, placing his hands on my shoulders.
