Chapter 185 - Chapter 185: Battle

The Divine Tree, which had been split apart, began to heal at an astonishing rate, with countless fleshy tendrils sprouting from the wound. In just moments, it had completely regenerated.

The ground also started to mend itself, closing up seamlessly until it was smooth and pristine once more, as if nothing had ever happened.

"Impressive power... but it's all meaningless. You cannot defeat me here. I had originally planned to wait until the fruit fully matured before dealing with you in the Shinobi World, but I didn't expect you to walk into my domain on your own."

Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo's voice echoed throughout the Pure Land.

At the same time, Danzo could sense that Hagoromo's chakra, which had initially only been at the level of a Sage of Six Paths, was still rising.

"Let me, the protector of the Shinobi World, the founder of Ninshū, put an end to this anomaly."

The space trembled violently, as if the entire Pure Land was responding to Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo's will.

A blood-red eye opened on Hagoromo's forehead, resonating with the Pure Land itself. His presence had now surpassed the Sage level.

Ōtsutsuki Kaguya frowned slightly.

"So this world is sustained through the eye on his forehead."

"No wonder I've always felt hostility from this place." Danzo had to admit that Hagoromo's mastery of ocular techniques far exceeded his own.

However, this was perfect.

A battle-hungry smile formed in his heart. In the Shinobi World, he had never dared to fight without restraint—but now, he finally had the opportunity. He exchanged a glance with Kaguya.

His chakra erupted, flaring up like blue flames that clung to his body.

Sage Art: Rasengan

A Rasengan, slightly smaller than usual, formed in his palm. Its black core, reminiscent of a Truth-Seeking Orb, was surrounded by a rotating Wind Release layer, leaving behind afterimages as it shot forward.

Danzo's blue-cloaked figure streaked through the air like a meteor, following closely behind the attack.

In an instant, the black Rasengan collided with the Truth-Seeking Orbs protecting Ōtsutsuki Hamura.

The Rasengan's black core silently expanded, engulfing Hamura in its void-like destruction. Instead of a conventional explosion, there was only eerie silence as the attack erased everything it touched.

A portion of space itself seemed to have been scooped out, leaving behind a black sphere that devoured all matter—even light couldn't escape it.

Hagoromo narrowly avoided the attack, his expression dark as he observed the lingering black hole.

Two of his floating Truth-Seeking Orbs had vanished within it.

"Bang!"

A Truth-Seeking Orb transformed into a shield, blocking the incoming blue streak of light—but the assault wasn't over.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Danzo's figure flickered like a flowing blue comet, striking from different angles.

However, the Yin-Yang-infused Truth-Seeking Orbs acted like an absolute counter to taijutsu, intercepting every strike with precision.

But as Danzo's speed continued to increase—

"Crack!"

Ōtsutsuki Hamura was suddenly sent flying in a bizarre posture, his body propelled backward at high speed. The blue light pursued him relentlessly.

"Damn it!" Hamura cursed, swinging the Sword of Nunoboko in his hand.

Ahead of him, the Pure Land's terrain suddenly shifted, a giant reflective surface rising like a vertical mirror.

Hamura's body shot into the mirror and disappeared within it.

Danzo's kick landed squarely on the mirror's surface, shattering it instantly.

Across the battlefield, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo, now standing at the roots of the Divine Tree, took a moment to examine his right waist—

A massive gash had been torn into him, as if something had taken a bite out of his body.

"That bastard actually dared to use taijutsu—such an unsophisticated technique."

His gaze flickered toward the distant battlefield, where the enormous wooden construct and Susanoo, previously shattered by Kaguya, lay in ruins.

A glimmer of irritation flashed in his eyes as he stabbed the Sword of Nunoboko into the ground.

Once again, a towering giant emerged from the earth.

Its massive form, as vast as the sky itself, had a translucent surface that reflected light, making it look like a giant made of glass.

Hagoromo raised his spear once more.

"Rise."

The entire space rumbled.

The horizon tilted as the terrain shifted, the ground folding and rising at sharp angles.

The once vast Pure Land was transformed into an enormous, cube-like battlefield, its four walls rising vertically to create an inescapable box.

All-Killing Ash Bones

Suddenly, a chaotic black void opened behind Hagoromo, from which dozens of bone spears shot forth.

Ōtsutsuki Kaguya emerged from the void, launching a counterattack.

At the same time, multiple Truth-Seeking Orbs streaked toward Hagoromo as he dodged the bone spears.

"Grrrkk!"

The ground erupted as the Divine Tree extended countless roots to block the attacks, shielding Hagoromo from Kaguya's assault.

"Crack! Crack!"

A massive glass-like hand burst from the ground, reaching for Kaguya as she prepared to attack again.

She swiftly activated Yomotsu Hirasaka and teleported away to evade.

At that moment, a black sphere floated down toward the battlefield.

Sage Art: Great Rasengan

A blinding white light expanded outward, unleashing a devastating shockwave that obliterated everything in its path.

The entire space trembled under the sheer force of the impact.

As the light gradually faded, the Divine Tree stood at the center of the destruction—though its roots had been severely damaged, leaving the entire structure unstable.

Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo, half of his face revealed from within a protective layer of Truth-Seeking Orbs, locked eyes with the two figures in the sky.

Below, the enormous glass-like giant slowly rose from the ground.

Half of its body was encased in Truth-Seeking Orbs, shielding Hagoromo as he merged into the glass titan's form.

"Are you alright?" Danzo asked.

"I'm fine. This Divine Tree is different from the one in the Shinobi World," Kaguya replied, somewhat uncertain.

Danzo nodded in agreement. "It's definitely not the same."

Visually, it appeared tangible and could be attacked—but in terms of chakra perception, it lacked a true physical presence.

Not to mention, its regenerative ability was absurdly strong.

"Whoosh! Whoosh!"
