Chapter 303 - 303 Firepower Supremacy Is Truth!

Beyond the capital of Wakanda lies a stretch of steep, rugged cliffs.

These cliffs hold extraordinary significance to the nation, not just geographically, but symbolically and strategically.

Among them is the only known vibranium mine in the world and the largest and most vital resource of its kind, embedded right into the cliffside on the outskirts of Birnin Zana, the capital.

Built into the mountain around the mine is the world's only large-scale vibranium extraction facility.

Not far from there, separated by a dense jungle and cascading waterfalls, stands the Royal Scientific Research Center a towering structure that serves as the hub of Wakanda's most advanced research, and the birthplace of many cutting-edge weapons.

High above, perched on the cliff's edge, is a monumental statue of the Black Panther—Wakanda's symbol and a tribute to its legendary protector.

Crossing over this significant stretch of monuments, past the jungle that looks almost like a scenic national park, and over the wide open plains beyond, lies the bustling heart of Birnin Zana.

But today, the once peaceful plains between the capital and the research center have become a brutal battlefield.

Energy blasts streak through the sky, shields shimmer and explode, and hand-to-hand combat rages amidst a sea of chaos.

The Wakanda coalition and the Avengers have joined forces here to launch an all-out assault against Ultron's mechanical army.

It's a storm of chaos—primitive, ferocious, and exhilarating.

Like a clash straight out of medieval times, only with futuristic beams and plasma shields adding a surreal, high-tech rhythm to the symphony of war.

"Heaven's Hammer, fire!"

A silver-haired girl stood atop a building shaped like a massive key.

She raised her elegant right hand toward the starlit sky and gave the order to attack.

The night wind rustled her soft, flowing hair and gently lifted the hem of her skirt and jacket.

Amidst the heat and fury of battle, Kagura's porcelain face showed nothing but icy resolve.

It didn't matter how others had twisted this so-called "high-tech war" into a chaotic, primitive mess.

Whether it was mindless charges, outdated tactics, or childish strategies—none of it mattered.

What mattered was this:

From the sky, I will strike.

I will rain down destruction upon those soulless machines.

Ultron… give my friends back!

In the next instant—a storm of fire descended from the heavens.

This was a synchronized precision strike using nine "Halo" orbital weapon platforms.

The now-mature Heaven's Hammer system could easily track and destroy moving targets anywhere on the battlefield, using real-time calibration between the stations to achieve unprecedented accuracy in orbital bombardment.

On the ground, fire and light surged wildly.

Blinding flashes from electromagnetic railguns lit up the battlefield like death itself sweeping across the earth and everything in their sights was reduced to molten wreckage and glowing ash.

Like charging across an open field?

Love brute-force tactics?

Think shouting "Urah!" makes you invincible?

Then prepare to be taught a hard lesson—by long-range firepower!

"Master, the first wave of bombardment is complete."

"Estimated enemy losses are at 73%. Wakanda forces are advancing, and signs of Ultron's forces collapsing are beginning to show."

"Excellent. Begin orbital equipment deployment. Here's the priority list."

Kagura continued, "Activate the Griffin Global Support System. Deploy the 'Even Odds' universal gear kit to Steve Rogers."

"Send the 'Shimada Custom Assault Kit' to Barton. And for Natasha Romanoff, deliver the 'Heavy Ghostflame Akira' kit. Immediate execution."

With the bombardment concluded, the tides of battle on the plains began to shift.

Thanks to the destruction of Ultron's rear mechanical units, the Wakanda coalition surged forward with a fierce offensive—pressing straight toward the capital like an unstoppable wave.

"Miss Kagura, was that… orbital bombardment just now?"

Princess Shuri stepped forward, eyes wide. "It was spectacular. Beautiful, even—I mean, of course, also incredibly effective!"

"Mmhm, thanks for the praise!"

Kagura smiled. "Wakanda doesn't have orbital strike tech like this?"

Shuri gave a wry smile. "We're a secluded nation. We've never needed global strike capability."

"To keep Wakanda hidden, we've even been cautious about launching communication satellites. Orbital weapons were never even considered!"

"Fair point." Kagura shrugged. "Anyway, our job here is done. Time to support the frontline."

She pointed to the distant battlefield where chaos still raged. "Thanks to my support, Wakanda's side should hold the advantage for now."

"But we can't assume Ultron doesn't have some kind of ace up his sleeve. And besides, Iron Man and War Machine haven't even shown up yet. This fight's far from over."

"I understand!" Princess Shuri nodded earnestly. "Miss Kagura, thank you for everything you've done for Wakanda. I… I don't even know how to express it properly, but please accept our heartfelt gratitude."

"Let's save the formalities for later."

Kagura turned toward Natasha, who was guarding the building's entrance.

"Natalie-sis, your gear's inbound. It'll be precision-dropped nearby any moment now. Ready to go tear Ultron a new one?"

"Absolutely, my dear little Kagura."

Natasha grinned. "I've been dying to smash that bastard's skull in."

"Ahaha, is that so? You might have to get in line. There's no shortage of people with a grudge against him."

Shuri quipped playfully, then added curiously, "By the way, one more thing—Miss Kagura, when will the reinforcements you mentioned arrive?"

Kagura smiled. "Don't worry. When the time comes, they'll show up."

"Right now, though, if we stand around chatting any longer, Captain Rogers is going to scold us for slacking off. Let's move!"

"Cortana, plot the optimal route. We're breaching the city center. Begin the second round of Heaven's Hammer orbital strikes. Fire as soon as you're ready!"

"Command confirmed, Master."

"Heaven's Hammer—Cooperative Fire Mode: Activated. Number of orbital platforms in range: nine."

"Electromagnetic railgun—joint targeting sequence initialized. Targets acquired."

"Precision calibration complete. Railguns fully charged. All systems nominal. Preparing to fire."

"Heaven's Hammer—Fire!"

Tiny flashes flickered like stars in the vast night sky.

Moments later, searing rain came crashing down from above.

Inside the capital city of Wakanda, the metallic fortifications that Ultron had hastily constructed—bunkers, targeting radars, auto-turrets—were all reduced to rubble under the relentless bombardment.

Explosions bloomed across the cityscape like fiery flowers, leaving nothing but twisted wreckage in their wake.

Already struggling to hold back the Wakanda coalition forces, Ultron's machine army had no choice but to retreat once more.

Originally, Kagura had assumed that even if they pushed Ultron's forces back on the open plains, the battle would get far more difficult within the dense urban terrain.

Tight corners and narrow passages were the enemy of heavy firepower.

But reality was proving otherwise.

Ultron's army was even less effective than she had anticipated.

They hadn't managed to form a coherent defense at the city's edge.

One more wave of Heaven's Hammer had scattered them completely, leaving them in disarray and without the will to fight.

'Is Ultron really this weak?'

Kagura flew swiftly through the night sky, cloaked in her sleek White Moon combat suit, radiant light wings trailing behind her.

'No matter how you look at it… this is going way too smoothly. And that's what worries me.'
