On board the ship, Duncan lay near the gunwale, his hands resting near the edges, mouth dripping green.
Holy shitballs, riding a ship is still so...*barf*
"You okay there, kid?"
Patting Duncan on the back, Titus helped calm Duncan down after his vomiting. "Wow, I knew you had some problems back when we were travelling by ship to Grandem, but I didn't expect you to have a seasickness no worse than those two. Tell me, how on Terra did you suppress it?"
Wiping off the vomit residue from the corners of his mouth, Duncan grinned cheekily. "The power of moolah old man! Money can't solve everything, but it sure can do a lot! All I needed were the anti-sea sickness pills from the Herbicorum, and badabing, badabong! I have 'cured' my seasickness- Whoa!"
Out from the depths emerged a ginormous dark shadow. Unleashing one of its giant tentacles, it lashed at the sea, destroying one of the shafts on the ship. "Run, it's a tier-6 Kraken!"
As the people began panicking, knowing that they couldn't defeat a tier-6 monster, Titus merely glanced at it, before a golden hue covered his fists. With a single punch, he vapourised the Kraken into octopus sashimi, whilst the rest of the gobsmacked crew watched in awe. "Mister, a-are you a God?"
Titus shook his head. "No child, I'm just a tier-6 Warrior. Anyways, what's the deal with the increased monster attacks?"
An old, battle-scarred man, who reveals himself to be the captain, replied to him, his tone grave. "'Tis the sign of the resurrection of the Demon King. Legends say that as the time for the return of the Demon King comes closer, the world always, always, experiences a surge of monsters. Thank Illumia we have managed to summon Heroes..."
With that said, everyone clasped their hands in prayer, thanking g the Goddess of Light for her blessings, all the while Titus stood there, his hands clenched.
Duncan, on the other hand, grew worried.
I don't know why, but I feel a dark shadow looming over the horizon in Folicia. I hope it's all just my imagination...

Vivian was going home, skipping all the way through, for she had discovered a great hoard of Mashrooms, this time with a bacony taste. Mhmm, let's see who'll be the queen of the woods Bareg! Haha!
Skipping, she continued humming her merry tune, unaware of the fate that befell her before her...
Tonight I'm gonna make mom cook the tastiest Mashr- NO!
Before her very eyes lay her village, now wreathed in flames
"MOM, NO!!!"
Screaming from the top of her lungs, she bolted towards the village, where she saw uncle Aeldren shooting towards a bunch of masked bandits. Just before he could kill them, one of them took out a small device from their back. What happened next frightened her to her core.
Within seconds, uncle Aeldren lost all of his magic, his arrows missing their targets, before plunging into the dirt. She could only watch in horror as the bandits took out long cylindrical weapons, and killed uncle Aeldren. Covering her mouth, she tried backing away as quietly as possible, but snapped a twig.
The bandits turned towards her.
Fear rising instantly, she began running into the woods, with the masked bandits following soon after.
ImgonnadieImgonnadieImgonnadieImgonnadieImgonnadieImgonnadieImgonnadie...
Knees scraping as she pushed her way in further, she tried her best to run as far away as possible, but slowly realised that she was doomed, for the bandits were getting closer and closer.
I'm sorry mom, I failed yo-AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!
Just when all hope left her, a small hole magically manifested beneath her feet, making her fall in. Where ti leads to, nobody knows...
