Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 Results

Alpha and Gamma made their way to the green blue-world with haste almost unbecoming of them. Spurred on by Alpha's constant nightmares, he would even use his tool to fold space to arrive quicker.

The two gods arrive to see what was once an eternal storm that not even they could remove had been wiped away as if it had never pelted the pillar of stone. Alpha descended first onto the pillar, his body now filled with dust making only the brightest stars within him able to be glimpsed. Gamma descended not long after him, now having adopted a wooden clock look with intricate details and adornments.

Omega was waiting for them outside the house. Their form adorned with cloths in a multitude of colors, so very similar to the dominant life on the green-blue world.

"Welcome back, Alpha, Gamma." Omega held up their hands. "The bet has been concluded and it should have been done so when we discovered Eta."

Gamma smiled within her clock face. "Without this trial, none of this could have happened. We would have been quite different Omega. Separation and learning in time has made the flow much more," Gamma paused, her movements sped up as she searched time for the word, "lively."

Alpha looked to his sister, his face unclouded as red stars shone so brightly that it almost looked like sunrise. "You knew and just decided to keep it to yourself. The Abyss is on our heels at all time. Do you know how much I've seen, how much I've witness that writhes in that infinite Abyss?" Alpha continued to brighten with red stars blowing the dust away.

Gamma looked to her brother. "Listen to Omega before anything else. Eta's gift to our universe is important."

Omega waited for Alpha to dim, they waited until the stars within Alpha had went to yellow. "Eta's gift is emotion, imagination, our own souls. Look within yourself once more as we did during creation."

Alpha looked at his psyche for the first time since creation, the once clouded orb that ebbed and flowed now was entirely clear. It showed just as his tool showed the universe within it.

"It's clear, how, when, why?" Alpha looked to the house just behind Omega.

Omega turned to look at the house as well. "My child changed us the instant it was made. It brought a true change into the universe, something more important than any experiment. Understand why you feel fear, why you're angry, why you have imagined so much devastation coming to the universe, and why you can even imagine."

Gamma placed a hand on Alpha, "Brother, your imagination does run rampant more so than any other. What you saw in the Abyss may exist, but we already have ruled on such things coming into the universe and nothing can break such rules. Just as we could never fight since Omega has made such a rule quite recently no?"

Omega turned around once more. "I could foresee such and made it so. A law such that we may never harm each other without the threat of losing our powers and becoming mortal."

Alpha looked back to his siblings, his movements sped up as Gamma speeds up time for him to understand and think. What is only a few seconds for the other two is almost a full millennia for the eldest. Though once his movements return to normal, his form is completely cleared of dust, now sporting a weave of stars such that even the clearest night sky couldn't even be compared to.

"You had the winning bet then Omega." Alpha gazed upon the house once more.

"That he did brother, that he did." Gamma followed his gaze.

Omega walked in front of them. "My child will be very surprised to see you. Eta is very much so different from anything you have or will ever see. Come." Omega opens the door leading them inside.
