After that conversation they agreed it had been a long night. No none had realized it was well into the night ans some of the servants were falling asleep waiting to clean up for the night. Maylia quickly ushered everyone to the exit having seen two of the girls asleep on the way to the door.
"My, we did let the time get away from us. My dear, please stop by my office before you go. I'll need that back." Lily nodded giving her a warm hug happy that the councilwoman returned it. "Take care of him. He's the only son I have." Maylia whispered in Lily's ear hold her tighter. "I will, I promise." Lily knew that would be a tall order to fill, but she would try her damnest to keep her promise.
