"Still fluffy," Ronan murmured, his voice rough from disuse.

He looked genuinely shaken, guilt clearly displayed by his furrowed eyebrows and the way he gripped Ronan's arm, like he still feared it might all fall apart.
Ronan just smiled faintly. His body was still recovering, muscles sore and tight, but the worst of the fever was gone. The fog that had taken over his senses for days had finally lifted. His voice came out low and soothing. "I don't blame you, Riven."
