Ava smiled faintly. "Sixty million. Deal."
Zachary grinned. "Great. Let's head to a hotel, sit down, sign the contract, and I'll make the transfer right after that."
Ava nodded. "Okay, sure."
He glanced at his watch. "I've got another client meeting coming up soon—big account, tight schedule. Hope you don't mind if we sit in the same room? You'll be quick. Once you sign, you can leave."
"Not a problem," Ava replied.
Though Zachary looked laid-back, he was fast when it came to business.
"I'll have my assistant prep the contract and bring the seal. Can you take a check?"
"Absolutely."
They each got into their cars and headed to the Grand Regency Hotel.
Inside a private suite, the client Zachary mentioned hadn't arrived yet.
Ava and Stella sat quietly, waiting for his assistant to deliver the contract.
Tea was served.
Zachary rested his chin on his palm, eyeing Ava with curiosity. "You're young—where'd you get such a sharp eye for art?"
