"Curly blonde hair," Roseline murmured again. "Brown eyes…"
As the image took shape, Ashley's frown deepened, and Lorenzo's did too.
By the time the drawing was almost finished, her throat had gone so dry she had to ask for water.
Lorenzo looked at her, worry tight on his face. "Do you want to step outside for some fresh air?"
She shook her head quickly. This was the truth she had searched for months. She wanted to see it through.
"Are you sure about these details?" Ashley asked Roseline, disbelief creeping into her voice.
Roseline nodded firmly. "I'm sure. She was with the man."
Nicolas turned to Ashley. "Does this look familiar to you?"
She blinked slowly, confused. "It looks a lot like Kayla Beckett."
