The time was about right, and Jiang Lingxi heard the sound of footsteps in the corridor outside the room. She gestured for Jiang Lingxu to pick up Lu Zhengzheng's usual large bag, leaving Lu Zhengzheng in the room watching TV while the siblings left.
They had just reached the elevator when Wei Minmin called out to them.

Jiang Lingxi replied, "Temporary assistant."
Jiang Lingxu coughed lightly, "Yes, I, I am Xi-jie's temporary assistant."
"No need to be nervous. I don't bite," Wei Minmin said with a smile, patting Jiang Lingxu on the shoulder. Her eyes landed on the large bag in his hand, "Where's Zhengzheng?"
"She has other arrangements."
