I was even less excited!
As I walked into the training room, I was met with surprised looks from everyone, especially the so-called cream of the crop students.
Surveying my classmates, many of whom were women, I noted that most looked quite ordinary.
It made sense, though. The attractive girls were always surrounded by admirers, leaving them with little time to focus on academics!
The less eye-catching girls were often ignored, making them concentrate on their studies.
I casually took a seat in the back row of chairs.
Soon, the teacher and a vice principal walked in, giving the usual motivational talk. I zoned out, not really paying attention.
After the pep talk, our guidance counselor showed up. "Hey, you all are the best of the best in this school, so I won't waste time with unnecessary chatter. I hope each of you will give your all during the two-week training and bring glory to our school." That voice sounds so familiar!
I looked up and there was my dear **Robin**!
