Chapter 62 - World Full of Lust

— — — — — —

[Destined Death]

It was Veyron's main damage output.

In theory, everything has its fated end. Even if his current power hadn't reached the level of conceptual death, the black flames representing manifested death were still enough to count as true damage.

[Sun Water]

It kept him running in the long haul. Even in a corrupted world where sunlight didn't shine—or the sun itself had gone wrong—he could still fight for extended periods, thanks to that divine liquid.

[Hourai Elixir]

It was his last resort. If he couldn't win and couldn't escape, one dose of that and—unless the evil god completely broke him in an instant—he'd still have a fighting chance left.

...

With this loadout in place, Veyron felt a lot more confident about heading into the corrupted beast world touched by an evil god's power.

He was ready to see what the hell was going on in that place.

『Lady Avalon』: "So, are we heading out now?"

『Ordinary Human』: "Yeah. Let's move."

Veyron opened the mission interface and tapped "Accept" on the request from the ██ World Will.

By now, after bouncing between his home world and the One Piece world so many times, he was more than used to the normal and "bugged" teleportation method that group missions used.

But this time, right after the jump, he staggered. His mind swirled with dizziness.

BOOM—

His third-stage gene lock flared up. Conqueror's Haki burst out, then quickly pulled back, condensing into a three-meter-wide pressure field full of his raw will—just enough to suppress the weird sense of corruption and distortion in the air.

"You okay, Miss Merlin...?" he asked, exhaling deeply.

"I'm good. Not too bad," she nodded.

Soft pink petals floated up from the glow at her feet, eventually fading.

She looked over at him. "Veyron, you noticed the... 'abnormalities' in this world too, right?"

"Lust... desire... distortion..." he muttered, describing what he felt.

The moment he landed in this world, he could tell—his sexual urges had suddenly skyrocketed to an insane level.

Totally abnormal.

Sure, he already had some vague understanding of this world beforehand.

Compared to One Piece, Highschool of the Dead, or Marvel, he had mentally prepared himself for this place to stir up a few...unspeakable thoughts.

But not to this ridiculous degree. Wanting to destroy ten busty women on the spot? Come on.

Worse still, his desires surged so wildly that every cell in his body seemed to twist and reshape itself, craving a form better suited for endless indulgence.

A familiar heat surged as his hard Rod grew bigger.

No doubt about it—the root of all this madness was the world's corrupted rules.

Specifically, it was the influence of that evil god whose authority was "lust," bleeding into the laws of this world.

Thankfully, Haki—which draws from one's will and convictions—was the perfect counter.

With Haki, Veyron barely managed to keep his mind intact.

"I'm a little worried about the Seven Shields Alliance we're supposed to protect," he said, pulling his aura in even tighter, compressing his Haki into a thin veil over his body like a layer of cloth.

"I wonder how many of them are still sane."

He'd just confirmed something big: the evil god's influence didn't target how strong your desires were.

Even the tiniest spark of lust could be magnified by the world's corruption.

One spark became ten, then a hundred, then a thousand… until your whole being was consumed, and you turned into a twisted servant of lust—chasing nothing but pleasure, reveling in degradation, and loving every second of it.

So unless you were a literal saint with not a single impure thought—or like Veyron, who noticed the corruption early and shut it down—you were basically doomed to turn into some freaky monster.

And let's be honest... the moral standards of this world's people?

Yeah, just worthy of being called Hentai.

...

"Things might not be quite as bad as you're thinking, Veyron."

Merlin activated her clairvoyance, her eyes glowing as she scanned the area. "The ratio is all messed up, yeah. But the Seven Shields Alliance is still holding the line."

"They've kept the last hope of human civilization alive. That's way better than that Earth we visited last time, where only nine people survived."

"The seven fortresses... over there?" Veyron followed her gaze.

"Yup, that way." She nodded, then shrank herself down from over a meter tall to a palm-sized figure. Standing on his left shoulder, she pointed ahead. "Same setup as last time?"

"Yeah. Let's stick to what works."

Merlin, surrounded by her usual soft pink petals, gracefully landed on his shoulder. Then, with a casual wave of her wand, she cast a support spell on Veyron—boosting his flight speed, reaction time, attack power, and recovery for stamina, energy, and mental strength.

Zooming through the sky hundreds of meters up, Veyron slashed down red arcs of energy with his blade Bloodwing, slicing through the corrupted cultists they passed along the way.

After two-plus hours of flying and fighting, he finally spotted one of the fortresses—a fortress shielded by a massive translucent dome, flanked by towering walls that stretched beyond the horizon.

He stopped midair, staring at the sight.

Just as expected, the area around the fortress was swarming with corrupted monsters.

They constantly launched attacks, only to be mowed down by arrows, boiling oil, and all kinds of defenses. Those who made it through slammed into the energy shield, disintegrating into ash and barely making a ripple.

But what caught him off guard were the defenders on the walls.

Armored knights. Leather-clad archers. Robed mages. Praying clerics. Civilians hauling supplies to the frontlines...

Every! Single! One of them! Was.... a woman.

Veyron glanced at Merlin. "Wait... I just realized I never asked. That 'messy ratio' you mentioned earlier... you meant this?"

"Yep," she said casually. "What you're seeing right now—the gender ratio."

"If you include elves, dwarves, and other demi-humans, the total number of normal people left under the Seven fortresses' protection is about seven million. And guess what? Every single one of them..."

She paused for effect.

"...is a girl. A pure, untouched girl."

Apparently, under the evil god's influence, only girls in this specific state were immune to the world's corrupted rules.

Only they could avoid becoming one of those twisted, winged, horned, whip-wielding cultist freaks attacking the fortress.

"..."

Veyron was speechless, his face twitching nonstop.

"This has gotta be the fault of whoever wrote this damn world... yeah. That person's a 1100% certified man-hater."

"Seriously? Not a single guy qualifies as pure? Not even the kids? What the hell—damn pervy creator…"

Veyron cursed every way he could in his head. This world really made men look like total scum. Like hell that woman was purer than a man—hmph.

Honestly, Veyron believed the opposite. Men were way more straightforward, not sneaky about their desires like women.

"Ooh, I get it now. Maybe the evil god found it easy to understand what a man is. But when it came to figuring out: What is a woman? Tsk—he realized that's the one question no one can answer."

"Yeah, that's it!"
