Though he has control, it will be done in the shadows, as it would not be allowed to be disclosed to the public, the fact that a private individual, another entity other than the government, has control over a national agency, would definitely make the entire public enraged, and would expose his card to the other hidden families.
Not only are they not listed in the Forbes Magazine, but they are bribed not to be listed. After all, attention would just put a mark on their backs, and controlling governments and other multiple nations through the use of funds and donations, and through the shareholder umbrella method, would make it harder, with surveillance.
Bribery is nothing more than a means, a means to control and get what you want, illegal it may be, they have already controlled the majority of the congress and the senate, though there may be some who resisted.
Nothing too serious, just hire a few assassins and have them shoot the enemy twice in the head, and call it a suicide. Then barrage the masses with large-scale propaganda of fake news or mislead them through the modification and use of words that would lead to absolute confusion.
Maybe abduct and threaten them, or through the use of blackmail, perhaps hiring a girl, then send them to the other party, but actually there was a hidden camera, a good scandal that would certainly ruin somebody's opinion. Perhaps even crueler, barrage them with misleading news, hide information, and bury them in a sea of scandals.
Effectively ending their social life and career, and once everything is done, have them assassinated, and blame it on the public due to their tarnished reputation, and nobody would bat an eye or even question its authenticity.
Though these reasons may have been done, Wyatt still believes in justice, however not in the same justice priest and lawmakers preach, but his own justice. He may throw money at somebody else's face, but he still has his own moral compass and would absolutely follow it to the dot.
Kind to friends and ruthless to his enemies, that was who he was; however, everything changed when one day he was visiting his friend, and they were having a party.
Wyatt grabbed the bottle of beer and drank it down as he and his friend talked merrily. Unfortunately, he did not notice it, perhaps due to his being nauseous, but his vision was already splitting, and after a few moments, he had fallen asleep soundly.
His friend, who had been staying by his side, had his lips curled into a gigantic smile. If a priest saw it, he would have thought it was the devil himself, but it was not; it was none other than his friend Maximo, from the family of Del Pilar.
